The NASCAR Playoffs are only four races away and with it there are four currently in on points, one close on points, and the rest of the pack. While the likes of Martin Truex, Jr. and Ty Gibbs seem safer there is a hell of a battle between Chris Buescher, Ross Chastain, and Bubba Wallace. So, will your favorite make it in? Does an underdog in the pack sneak in with a win? Who still makes the 2024 NASCAR Playoffs?

I agree with your picks, I hope bubba makes the playoffs again this year.
If no new winner happens, I think Bubba will overtake Ross for the playoffs. In terms of new winners, I either like Josh Berry at Richmond, Erik Jones at Darlington, or Carson Hocevar at Daytona (truth be told, he’s either gonna win or crash trying to)
Carson Hocevar winning a race would be something.
Truex is basically guaranteed. I think Gibbs will get through and buescher will as well. The battle really is between Chastain and Wallace and I lowkey think Wallace will sneak through. I don’t think we’ll get anymore winners that are below the cutline tbh but the best chance would be Daytona
I would say chastain would get in as he is in the bubble only because of his crashes which weren’t his fault. The upcoming races are good ones for chastain and I am pretty sure chastain will win daytona
I do believe Chastain will still make the playoffs
It’s funny you say that because I have Ross Chastain in the championship 4 this year, so him not being in the playoffs would be a bust in my championship 4 picks before the playoffs starts.
@@HotmanGamingIt’s *very* unrealistic for Ross to make the final 4. Unless he somehow makes the playoffs and turns his season around, Does something crazy again and makes the final 4.
@@BraydenBunch58 To be fair, he wasn’t supposed to make the Championship 4 in 2022. The wall ride at Martinsville helped Chastain in that regard (as well as Hamlin’s Post Race Inspection fail at Pocono in 2022).

He led a lot of laps at the superspeedways at the start of the season. He could win daytona.

Honestly, of all the miscellaneous drivers on not big teams, I could see Todd Gilliland snagging a clutch win at Daytona to make it in, he’s been extremely consistent this season and led a bunch of laps at the plate races in Daytona and Atlanta, I could see him having a good run and possibly winning the summer Daytona race.

Bubba is definitely getting closer to win a race based on his results if not with those bad lucks he had that are out of his control.

I hate to be that guy but has bubba even ability to be at the front outside of a super speedway this year? I actually think he’s taken a step back from what I saw last year
I was thinking bubba could maybe get 2 wins this season and obviously he still can, but i definitely didn’t see him being on the outside looking in at this point in the season

I think the Top 4 will stay the way they are right now. I want all 5 of these top guys in the fight to make it but I think Ross will pick up the consistency a little bit again.
I’d assume at least one new winner at Daytona, and I’m sure a few teams like the 4 are gonna go all in on Richmond. The only guy I think is “In” is Truex, assuming he doesn’t get Kyle Busch luck.
I guess I’d go 19, 54, 17 and say the 8 wins Daytona cuz that would be wild

As a Ross fan, man I am FRUSTRATED at Hendrick. That team complained about my guy last year but took away two of his best races this year by dumping him in overtime. That’s probably around 40 points we can use right now taken by incidents with them. It’s horribly frustrating, I am so hoping these next few races go better for Ross. Please.

Me personally McDowell either wins Darlington (a historically goo track for him crunch the recent numbers) or Daytona leaving A flounder Gibbs and a just cant finish the race Wallace out of the playoffs.

Man you played it so easy by saying oh no one’s going to in race it in you forget how underestimated Daytona can be
NASCAR needs to do away with the “win and you’re in” format. No one wants to see a playoff spot wasted on a driver 20th-30th in points who backed into a win like Cindric, Suarez, etc over guys like Buescher, Gibbs, Chastain, and Bubba who actually consistently run in the top 10-15 every week and can actually compete in the playoffs.
Yes, it’s been a horrible year but not until there are 26 races in the books for the 2024 season… I am not giving up on Kyle Busch.
