I am an expert and you are absolutely right, you can’t smell carbon monoxide (Co)
However, you can smell aldehydes which are given off during incomplete combustion.
What you are smelling are exhaust fumes which will contain some Co. As Co is accumulative, once it is absorbed by the red blood cell, the body struggles to remove it and eventually you starve your body of oxygen and suffocate. It actually doesn’t take much Co% in your blood to cause serious lasting damage or death.
James, man, take the carbon aventador along with the egg for sure! Also, it seems like the issue you’re having in the gallardo is connected to the exhaust leak and possibly would be an easy fix, hopefully. And yes, sell the yellow gallardo and use the money for the OG

You can’t smell the gas itself. You notice the fumes though.

An exhaust leak wouldn’t cause loss of power like that. I’d guess it’s something linked to EGR, especially with the random surges of power.
