My pick christopher bell ended up 6th after dominating the race at Richmond raceway
He was definitely fast, even on pit road
@@davids5006 yeah he was
What old style race car you talking about. I’ve been watching races since I was a child which has been a long time ago and I’ve seen this same scenario at least once every year and maybe more
This blatant though? Plus, in the distant past you would have gotten jumped after the race – and I’m not sure your own crew would have defended you in this case.
Saw someone on one of Kenny Wallace’s videos comment they wanted the win taken away, Dillon given a 2 lap penalty and suspended 2 races, the crew chief and spotter for the 3 suspended for the rest of the season, driver and owner docked 100 points, and a combined $250k fine between the driver, crew chief, and the team. They did admit they hate RCR so……
Per past precedents that would be the appropriate punishment. Intent was clear when spotter told him to wreck the 11 and Austin even admitted to intentionally wrecking him in the post race. So that 1 race for that and 1 race for the right hook.
Honestly. Id be cool with the playoff birth heing taken away. That way to win was a joke just because of the right hook. I could care less about the logano part butright hooking into a wall is unacceptable. Plus the SMT even shows the insane steering input austin used.
@@tylerpowers453finally someone with a decent take in these comments. Everyone acting like him dumping TWO people off back to back after he lost the restart is acceptable is baffling to me.
2010 Call Edwards hooked Brad Keselowski to win a race. I believe last lap last corner to coming to the flag you do what it takes to win. Now if it just a retaliation thing just to take someone out is different, yes a penalty is warranted then.
He didn’t just dump someone tho, he ran into the back end of someone after running off into the corner way too hard and after realizing he was going to get beat my Hamlin on the bottom he hooks back down to take him out. NOTHING about that was normal, if nothing is done about it this is just gonna get worse
“If I wanna win it’s okay that I’m dirty, if I’m returning dirty to a dirty person, that’s worthy of a penalty” bro what bible were u raised on
Austin Dillon is the man.
People love to slam on Austin Dillon, but he did a great job Saturday night.
@iankhan4614 He did what he had to do to get in the playoffs…blame the Format for the banzai moves, just like Chastain at Martinsville.
This ending’s uproar is almost the same as Dale’s rattling of Terry’s cage at Bristol. The results should be the same, no penalty.
You falter Austin and there’s no way you should have ever done that and most drivers and when they accidentally wreck someone they apologized he acted like it was the greatest move in the world and it’s ridiculous 90% of the drivers would never do that and it’s just a b******* move
Joey logano and Denny Hamlin needs to be called the bubble boys if they don’t want to have rough racing
Joey logano moved Truex Jr at Martinsville to win in 2018. So they should be OK if it comes back towards them.
Logano is a expert, he should teach Dillon how it’s done.
kyle larson s following Gordon footsteps. Great driver, bring spotrs and fans tog, and getting booed lol
I agree with fines and points and suspension not maybe that much. Let him keep the win hes not going to make it past 1st round anyway. My worry is other drivers who need a win badly and dont care will do the same thing the next 3 races
NASCAR shouldn’t do anything it’s up to the drivers to hold AD responsible
Yes Dillon did come down 1/2 a lane but Hamlin was drifting up the track.
Wow. What a s***show. Horrendous finish. Ludicrous how many vlaim other drivers have done what Dillon fid AND claim its happened before and it was fine. It wasn Fines, suspensions, fans real unhappy.
That wasnt hard racing, bump and run, using some up. It was egregiously bad driving by a driver thats statistically one of worse restarters on grid.
Demolition Derby Dillon finally wins one for grandpa.
They used to race like this all the time till we started getting offended by everything
What about the time Kevin Harvick wrecked the field at talladega when he had transmission issues just so he could move into the next race.
Kids shouldn’t be in the racecar while its running 9n track ever. Kids just shouldn’t be permitted on the racetrack ever when theres any cars around
Make it have to be in top 20 to be in.
