Nascar drivers should win 2 races to advance to the playoffs the rest if they cant win 2 races should be based off points
Stupid. No different than what they got now. Win and in.
How about this? Get ride of the win and you’re in
Get rid of the stupid chase. Go back to the old point system.
@@rebel6756 Be careful what you wish for.
@@scrick7112first time a driver clinches the championship with 3 races to go the fans will complain.
Keep playoffs but do 150-200 point bonus for wins doesn’t guarantee anything but gives a good shot at making playoffs and we go back to more points style. Makes it a lot harder for anyone 20th back on points to just have one good race and make playoffs
@@trevorhintz1290exactly. Or 1 driver runs away with the Championship the entire season, similar to F1
Sounds about right.
3 More Race until NASCAR playoffs About to Start. You Win & You In! Chris Buescher & Bubba Wallace & Martin Truex Jr & Ross Chastain a win. Must Win
#1 Chastain literally paved the way on that Martinsville wall for this kind of driving now. Funny how Denny and championship spoiler Logano are yet again involved.
The explanation is perfect. Doesn’t mean that the system is right. It reached peak shenanigans and no sport. It was already a non sport since 2004 and now there is no reason to watch a 400 lap race if already gonna have a caution with 2 laps to go to finished like these. I’m sorry, but NASCAR is not a motorsport anymore, the selling for the “best drivers of the world” never make any sense, now it’s just far from reach and once the people that enjoys entertainment goes away, NASCAR will always be on this constant battle to have to find newer fans because they will loose more and more people consuming their products.
Saw someone on one of Kenny Wallace’s videos comment they wanted the win taken away, Dillon given a 2 lap penalty and suspended 2 races, the crew chief and spotter for the 3 suspended for the rest of the season, driver and owner docked 100 points, and a combined $250k fine between the driver, crew chief, and the team. They did admit they hate RCR so……
That sounds like something SHR would get for cheating
Very lenient.
I want all of that and for Dillon to personally send me 5 million dollars. It’s the only way he can make it right
Man..all the pearl clutching by the fans is hilarious..
Well said
The problem is, logano can’t let this stand
I’m not an expert but I was there.
From what I seen there and the replays.
The #3 drove super deep dumped the #22, then the #3 instinctively ducks under the #22 while the #11 is coming up the track exiting, resulting in the #3 and #11 colliding.
I dont think he right reared Hamlin on purpose, and I don’t have a problem with him dumping the #22
So yea it’s dirty but I dont see any problems, he did what needed to be done.

Well said Kevin
A dirty win is a win; dirty payback is a payback.
That’s close, but the 11 went up the track.. So that’s a racing deal that 2 lines intersect something’s gonna happen.. And explained to me how he finished second?
Denny should’ve held a lower line like Bell did
It’s the environment NASCAR created with this format. You tried to dump Kyle Busch at Martinsville for a single point to advance. Same thing. Moves made out of desperation; not what the driver would normally do.
