Hasnt Denny dumped cars at short tracks too? Chase Elliott ring a bell?
Facts!!!
Denny Hamlin dumped Larson for a win
Please show me the clip where he comes from 5 car lengths back, to the point where he is literally going to miss the corner, to take someone out. Then right hooks yet another car into the wall because it was going to pass him. I’ll wait
@@theprettybond159DH did that to Chase at Martinsville
@@MrJRod891 He bumped him slightly and chase lost control lol. Yeah I hate Denny but he bumped him and chase lost control
I’m not mad that he won it’s the way he did it that wasn’t a bump and run he wrecked 2 cars for the win!
Same here, it was basically a fair move he had to do what he had to do for the win. Now what joey did at the end now that was uncalled for
Not any bump n run I’ve ever seen
@aaronhobart6223 yeah and I heard that these cars are a mess to deal with as well
@@michaelgiyer6778 I liked the tire option though it created some passing but like all new things these guys are so damn good that tire option will fade they will learn quickly on that
This opinion is gonna be controversial AF
If it came from anyone other than this idiot, I’d agree. But it’s Kyle Petty, he’s a dummy.
fr
How?
Not really
Does anyone else almost never agree with Kyle Petty?
I don’t think anybody ever does lol
Wow, I actually do agree with him this time ha ha. Dillin hasn’t done anything in a couple years but ask Martin Truex if Joey Leo has a leg to stand on…
@@CB-jk3ueor Byron or Kenseth
He was right on about Danica 8 years before everyone else.
@@CB-jk3uebig difference in bump and run and what Dillon did last night. That’s like saying hitting a guy with a bat is the same as slapping him open handed because there both striking a person.
Dil shows us what an amateur does in panic mode. Just like any generation, some people lack character and principles.
Doesn’t matter, he made it into the playoffs
So joey and denny are amateurs too because they do the same thing
Product of the car, the format and the teams needing stay viable by winning at all cost. Old School Gen X Fan from the 80’s and its hard to watch a short track be boring for 90% of the race. Okay side by side but still hard to pass. All we hear is speculation from commentators for 80% of the race on tires and fuel. Cut the bottom 6 inches off the noses of these damn things and go racing.
This is the first truly reasonable opinion I’ve seen on the subject. Well done.
In a certain sense, you just described the problem with “equity”.
AND Hamlin towards Larson too.
Uhh…One Hot Night? We’ve seen you do it before too Kyle…
And kyle still finished 2nd. Didn’t win.
Maybe that’s why NASCAR had Kyle on to be the one to say it. NASCAR knows what they’re doing.
@@MrZrazies story of his career, not that 2nd was even common from kyle.
Respectfully as a “new fan” since 2000, it was probably one of the worst ways to see someone win a race. It is worse than Vickers wrecking Johnson and Earnhardt to get his first win, a race this reminded me of so much.
On that day, even, I feel like it was more of Vickers being too late to follow JJ and wrecked him and Jr.
Here there’s no leeway at all.
He won’t go farther than the 1st round. Mark My Words!
But he will go to the 1st round
@@jorgejefferson8251 I do not care for Austin as a driver but got to admit I was really hoping to see him win for some reason.. and you know what good for him I would have done the same thing
I’ve seen Logano wreck someone blocking or taking away his line when he was trying to pass. that’s different from just running in the back of someone who just out raced you. what Dillon did is what anyone could do in any race to the car in front of them
Exactly
He ran into byron and wrecked him at Darlington. Wasn’t gonna Winn so he just hit him up into the wall
It’s nothing that hasn’t been done before. Just depends upon who is doing the bumping and who is getting spun out.
Doubt it
@@brianstephenson8201Do you not remember Byron running him into the wall first? He would’ve passed Byron anyway but why not retaliate and pass him for the win
Mr.denny would do the same move in a microsecond same with Mr.lagano
We all know Denny’s signature move is moving a guy up into the wall to slow him down, it just didn’t work this time.
He wasnt even trying to do that
@@Number1TravisScottGlazer Have to disagree. Kyle has a better video angle here, and it looks like, to me, at 1:10 that Austin came down a bit, but Denny went much further up in comparison. Probably just the normal drift up the track on a turn, but sure exaggerated it.
@@Culdcepter There is an animation that shows exactly where the preferred racing line was, and Denny was almost a car length below it to avoid the spinning #22. Dillon on the other hand comes down the track, crosses the racing line and hits Denny, proving that the contact was intentional. There is also leaked spotter audio of Dillon’s spotter telling him to “do whatever it takes” and “wreck him”.
@@Culdcepter jesus ppl that write this im almost positive have never watched or sim raced before. IT ISNT A FLAT STRETCH.
Maybe Dillon should have said “I didn’t mean to spin them out. I just meant to rattle their cage.” LOL
Logano had no problem dumping Byron at Darlington…
Ummm yeah, after Byron ran him in the wall….
Byron caused that and got a receipt back
OK & AFTER BRYON TRIED TO WRECK HIM DID YOU SEE THAT OR WAS ONE EYE CLOSED
Bring on the new villain! Oh yeah! I loved Denny’s comment about people who live in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing rocks. He gets it. Class.
Pause the video at 46 seconds. 4 or 5 car lengths back is Denny. Dillon only 1 car length behind. Logano bouncing off of Dillon on the restart, no one mentions that.
WHAT WAS YOU LOOKING AT LOONIE TUNES TO POST THAT
Your wrong dude dillon was 4 car lengths back go look again
Couldn’t happen to two more deserving guys.
