Do you agree with the penalties on Austin Dillon and Joey Logano?
No for Dillon but yes for Logano
Yes I think Joey could’ve been fined 75k as a Joe log fan but Dillon’s is fair
Agree with both, but think Joey deserved a 150k fine instead.
I agree with the Austin Dillon penalty it was the right call.
However that being said Nascar needs to make this the precedent going forward for similar Actions.
*Jeff Gordon has been added to playoffs*
No he didn’t but would be cool if he did
Hahaha

A man can dream.
RCR blew their chance at winning this season in the Cup Series. Joey and Hamlin going to send him in the catchfence.
Why would Hamlin? Videos show Hamlin wrecked himself
again…….
@@shadowedlvnar1635y’all need to stop with this false narrative. Hamlin drives the RACING LINE and SMT (not to mention FOOTAGE) clearly shows Dillon turning down into Hamlin.
@@shadowedlvnar1635 no
NASCAR basically shot themselves in the foot with the Playoffs

Yep exactly my thoughts, they come up with this system to create dramatic situations and then when you get one they say its not right… sure the move should have been illegal but it wasnt so i dont agree with throwing him out of the playoffs despite not deserving it.
I already haven’t watched it in 2 months. They just made it worse bc I enjoyed the finish in Richmond. They got soft
@adamrtr2774 this the 3rd video I’ve seen you trying to correct people so here’s your attention since you clearly don’t get any in real life. And it doesn’t make a difference. It’s the same thing
No. You just don’t want to hold drivers personally accountable for their actions. Win and you’re in is no excuse. Wrecking your own grandmother is hyperbole. These drivers know right from wrong.
Even NASCAR with their wannabe pro wrestling sports entertainment mindset couldn’t let this slide. They absolutely did not want the terrible backlash they would’ve received if nothing was done
It’s not racing.. just entertainment.. funny that some take NasClown serious.
Legit every driver, crew chief and reporter was calling out that move
WWE on asphalt
Way to go NASCAR, Cry baby Joey & cry baby Denny have done the same , in the past, But, no penalties, NASCAR has become a big (JOKE). I’m not even an Austin Dillon fan. But hey, it’s Nascars circus.
@@gregwilkerson3530Denny or Joey have never wrecked two cars in such oblivious ways for a win. Closest you’re getting is Harvick wrecking Kyle Busch at Martinsville in the playoffs
For once, I have no issues with the penalties.
Maybe I’d make Dillon’s a fine instead of points penalty since he’s already in must-win territory, but that’s a nitpick. I think NASCAR got it right this time.
@@IsaacV24 Technically the points penalty is a fine, because you get money based off of where you finish, and 25 points could be the difference between 25th and 30th
Dillon’s punishment is major but Logano’s punishment was what I expected. It wasn’t a racing issue, so no points deducted is a good call, and you can’t act like a moron with a risk of people being hurt in the process, so even a $50,000 is understandable.
Could’ve ruptured ear drums
For those that are curious, Dillion drops down to 31st in the standings.
He was 26th but they took away points
So right where he was before the race, basically lol.
@@k3nnyisaw3som3 1 spot higher
I don’t get NASCAR, you create a playoff format that promotes that kind of racing. Then penalize the driver for taking advantage of that format. Like pick a lane
That is why I call it NasClown.
Dude, f1 would ban them. That was dirty driving.
@@Marko137-em8nx LOL… Food Lion has a sale on steaks.. does that matter?
@Marko137-em8nx This is NASCAR, not F1, we are not like them nor should we try to imitate them. The only thing they do that we should is a better points format and no playoffs which is my point.
All of this because wrecky spinhouse couldn’t keep his crap together
@@BIGG-CEE27 and preece.
Ricky entered the corner too hot and preece chopped him. Both garbage in cup
again.
I’m pretty sure they wrecked in front of dillin on purpose with only 1 corner left before the white flag
All I’m going to say is lets check back in when someone hits someone in the playoffs to win and nothing is done.
There is a difference between a slight bump and run and what Dillon did. Bumping is racing, right-hooking and wrecking is not
Are you incapable of looking at different incidents objectively? Trust me, it isn’t that difficult. Jesus.
@@bUdDh1stPsYcHo you really trust Nascar to be able to make judgements like that? The brickyard they couldn’t even decide to put out the yellow for a stalled car and the back stretch for 40 fucking seconds because they like the story. Nascar isn’t to be trusted. What about harvick wrecking the whole field to go to the next round at dega.
@@karlcalvert812 then why do we have a system where do whatever you must do to advance in the playoffs? Newman doored someone and the last lap. Harvik wrecked the whole field at dega. The system sucks. Don’t tell me you want your story lines and do whatever you must do to advance but then say but not that way and set a completely new precedent in the middle of a season and not expect Nascar to do something crazy with it in the next 13 races
Yeah but who gets fined for letting people on Pit Road? – Logano should get fined but so should other responsible parties.
Responsible party would be nascar. They not gonna do that.
I’m cool with all penalties assessed. The fine on Joey Logano doesn’t bother me. People without a fire suit shouldn’t be on pit road until all cars are stopped. The 3 team got everything they deserved. The dumbass spotter suspended, playoff eligibility revoked, and a nice point penalty to boot.
More than anything, this shows the up-and-comers starting out at the lower levels that this behavior is not acceptable. There are consequences for actions that are deemed unacceptable on the track.
He endangered the safety of the fire suit wearing officials.
@@nobodystaco7366he should be penalized, but all those people shouldn’t be in pit road that early either.
@@kyledabearsfan exactly. The fine was warranted, but people need to be wary that cars are still moving.
I agree they shouldn’t be on pit road fire suits including wife, girlfriend, nany and kids, Joey Logan’s fine should be higher an made example and pit road or different for every track but no excuse.
@@kyledabearsfan They were herded by officals there were no kids running around unsupervised. Everyone was safe until the tantrum started.
NASCAR bred this type of behavior with the playoff format and now punishes those that gives nascar the type of race they want.
Its not the format, its the format the car the data sharing and nascar not officiating. We weren’t seeing crap like this in the 6th gen and smt data available in real time to all the teams
Yes but they have been steady on the right rear hooking. If your right rear hook someone you will receive a penalty. And the 3 clearly did that.
Dillon would have done this even without the playoffs. He’s scum.
@@alextriplett9414 right,Danny Hamlin said it best this is why no body is going to take this sport (NASCAR) seriously with this playoff win and you in gimmick, which is telling drivers to do whatever it takes to win even if it means dumping your opponents.
Something like the Hail Melon was cute once and got banned. You can’t have people intentionally wrecking two cars for a win to get in the playoffs like this.
Yeah but it was the last lap, and Ross didn’t wreck nobody.
@@therealanonymous12 This!!! Yes, it could have been ugly, but it wasn’t, Ross only wrecked his own car. I get it why it was banned, because sooner or later someone would have messed it up. But I also understand why there wasn’t a penalty. There was nothing to be penalized there.
Joey and denny have both done this same thing
Ricky Stenhouse Jr messing up the playoffs 2 years back to back, love to see it
Let’s be honest, if he would have made playoffs, he would have been passed around more than a peacepipe. They would have fenced him.
I’d have paid good money to see that honestly
Shouldn’t be that many people, including a baby, on pit road while cars are returning post race. NASCAR needs to clean that up, immediately.
