Dillon plowed into Logano from 4 lengths back. Good thing Logano didn’t get hurt. It was Hamlin talking about young up and coming drivers would think this is OK.
@@isaiahmarker407 I agree that was a dangerous thing he did. He could have hit someone. NASCAR has to start enforcing what I think is already a rule, that no one over the wall on a hot pit road until all cars are stopped and drivers are out of their cars.. I’m OK with Logano’s fine and would have been OK with a $75K fine as well. Keep people from coming over the damn wall though on a hot pit road. Geez, being there with children is crazy.
@@jeannieg.8694 NASCAR screwed up but that doesn’t give Joey an excuse. He should be indefinitely suspended until he completes anger management. Larson and Gragson had to do sensitivity training to be reinstated. Why is Logano getting off easy? That was the stupidest move in the history of NASCAR. No excuses
The focus wasn’t on Logano, it needed to be on Dillon. Take danger out of it and the worst foul was on the 3. An example needed to be made so young drivers don’t get the wrong idea about what’s acceptable in racing. Austin failed as a role model and a rep of NASCAR.
Yes I have a Lake Speed car turned out of be his last car, But I knew he drove the Cartoon Network car and they have been in the news lately cause their website is gone, and MTV also and Cartoon Network could be sold possibly or even shut down, But back to Lake Speed I remember in 93 he drove for three different teams, and he drove the famed Yates 28 Texaco car before Ernie Irvan.
If Dillon is out. Logano should be too. Logano’s offense was WAY worse and $50k just isn’t good enough for me. Either take Logano out of the playoffs or suspend him. Either that or give Dillon his playoff spot back. The playoffs is literally asking for this to happen and NASCAR has promoted this finish to no end. I’m extremely pissed and I think NASCAR made the wrong decisions as usual. Suspend the spotter and dock points sure… But give Dillon his spot back or remove Logano for his WORSE offense. What a joke
@@isaiahmarker407 That’s laughable. Dillon plowed into Logano and Logano was pissed. Yes, Logano did something egregious, but it didn’t affect the outcome of the race. Get real! Keep people off the hot pit road and this would never have amounted to anything.
Btw Dillon didn’t hook Hamlin. They just collided. Doesn’t matter what the spotter was saying. Hamlin was just going for the same real estate. Hamlin and Logano are just a couple crybabies and I hope they get eliminated very quickly from the playoffs. If either advances to the championship race.. I WON’T WATCH
Dillon absolutely hooked Hamlin. The SMT data showed it. He turned left and Hamlin was just following the normal line everyone does at Richmond coming off the corner. You can see Reddick having the same line behind Hamlin.
Hamlin’s movement up the track followed the natural racing line
Dillon exited turn 4 in the middle lane and collided with Hamlin with half of the car in the bottom lane.
100% intentional. 100% right hook.
I normally do not agree with Nascar penalties and how Nascar handles penalties. But I will say this penalty on Dillon is legitimate in my opinion. Many will disagree which is fine, but Dillon very obviously intentionally wrecked Hamlin. I’m not upset about him wrecking Logano, but him intentionally hooking Hamlin in the right rear needs to be addressed!
I like that they took away his playoff status but this decision says, (You can right rear hook someone and keep your win and not get suspended). If I was king of NASCAR the penalty would be 3 car is placed as the last car on the lead lap. Reddick gets the win. Dillon suspended for 1 week. No further points penalty. No sport can exist without judgment calls.
Agreed but that needs to be decided right after the race. You can’t wait a day or more to take the win away. Hopefully nascar will look at this incident and think about how they officiate now.
Maybe Dillon wouldn’t have made those moves for the win if he didn’t think all the other perks come with it. Playoffs and point jump and pay jump. Maybe he would’ve

What Logano did on pit road is WAY worse and he got a slap on the wrist. Bubba’s fine after Chicago was $75k

Hold onto that stupid opinion. Anyone with a brain could see he turned Denny intentionally

Chat said Savannah Bananas would be a good baseball game for Bristol – Concur, on brand for the circus NASCAR wants to become.
