Bloomquist was a natural on the dirt. Hell of a driver and one hell of a person. Dirt raceing lost a great one and so did us fans of dirt. Rip black sunshine. Throw them sliders in heaven.
I’m to young to have watched Scott Bloomquist in his prime but even in the races he’s run the last few years he was a sight to be seen! His talent his charisma will always be remembered by the dirt racers. Even in the races he ran this year it was always amazing to watch him race and go door to door with the best, we’ll all miss Scott ❤️ ☝️
@@toddmanger7194 yeah I remember that episode. I remember he tried to run a race in nascar and talked about it on that episode but nascar wouldn’t allow it, kinda sucks that he never got that chance
Scott Bloomquist had a craftsman truck series start. So the news of his passing is nascar news as well. Although it’s relevant news for American oval racing as a whole regardless.
I like Preece. I’ve watched him race for years. He’s devoted to his craft. Excellent work ethics. He just needs to be with the right team. The kid’s good. Just give him a chance to prove it. RIP Bloomer. You will be missed.
Shout-out to Eric for the Baker and Buccaneers reference! In all seriousness, Preece has talent, no doubt. If it takes him moving from a C/C- car to a B/B- car to show that talent and he succeeds, then I’m all for it.
I’m among those who doesn’t follow Dirt Racing in depth, but I’ve definitely heard the name Scott Bloomquist. My condolences to the Family and Fanbase of the Legend.
On lighter topics, I couldn’t be happier for the ‘Dinger! He belongs in the Cup series and I love watching him win! The sincerity of his emotions when he gets to Victory Lane is hard to match!
Scott Bloomquist was quite literally the Dale Earnhardt of the dirt late model world. Love him or hate him, everyone’s eyes were on that black number zero car when it pulled onto the track. Black sunshines memory will live on for a long time to come in the dirt community.

RIP Scott Bloomquist
God rest his soul.
He will be missed
Would love to see RFK with 3 cars full time- Brads my guy, hope he performs this weekend in Michigan…
I’m glad for Aj, he deserves the cup ride. Also the Kroger sponsorship could make for some interesting paint schemes for RFK.
Scott Bloomquist was just one Dale Jr’s podcast last year! RIP
Allmendinger is a 3 time cup winner, he won the 2023 Charlotte Roval race

Allimendinger last win was last year at the roval
Yeah that what I was thinking
I was about to say the same thing

He was on Dale jr’s podcast like 2 years ago I believe, it’s a real good episode and learned a lot about the man who was the Earnhardt of dirt

CORRECTION: Allmendinger is a 3-time Cup winner. I completely forgot about his Roval win. My bad.
How dare you get something wrong! Just kidding, your the man Eric!
I was about to make that comment. Dinger is undefeated at the ROVAL.
No worries. Happens to the best of us.
It’s all good

Maybe RFK didn’t outbid 23XI. Maybe Haas cut them a deal on the charter, in exchange for the technical alliance for the #41 car.
That sounds legitimate
That sounds plausible as well
3:39 his last win was at the roval in 2023 and it was his 3rd win
Thank you, Eric, for paying tribute to “The Bloomer.” My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fans.
