This is the 11th time Sheldon Creed finished 2nd place.
New record!
@@Pointlesscrap-lu5viFourth runner up finish of the year for him, and a total of 10 top fives.

An Eric Estepp video on Sunday night that’s not a review is low key weird
The only way the Dillon Penalty gets overturned is if Brian France is on the appeal panel
Depends. The appeal team has passed some iffy stuff. Wouldn’t be a 1st.
I could see it getting overturned purely on the premise of “NASCAR didn’t deem the action bad enough to strip the trophy/money from him, so how did they determine it was bad enough for him not to make the playoffs”. In my opinion, NASCAR tried to have its cake and eat it too with their penalty. You can’t say both “what you did was so bad we’re stripping you of playoff eligibility over it” and “you can keep the win” in the same breathe. You either have to take all of it or none of it. NASCAR obviously didn’t think it was bad enough to take all of it, so, they shouldn’t take any of it. It feels super arbitrary how they determined the penalty, which is why I feel there is a chance it gets overturned.
@@nathan1sixteenI agree. he can keep the trophy, the win, and the money but not the playoff side, that’s pretty hypocritical on nascars part. It wasn’t bad enough to dq but was bad enough to take the playoff eligibility?
@@nathan1sixteenExcellent points
I got to meet with Brennan Poole this past Saturday at Michigan. Told him I was a fan of Power Hour. I was rooting for him but I think his engine blew after 60-65 laps.
That’s awesome! but yeah, bad break for Brennan this weekend
This race should have started at noon
You are correct sir, f the left coast!
Yes.. noon start time
NASCAR knew rain was coming
NASCAR is making poor decisions
NASCAR hates its fans
It’s the TV partners making them start times. Cup used to always start at 12 to 1 local time.
You sound like David Land!
#noon
Lets hope Sheldon finds a good fit with this move. Sheldon is talented big time. Pulling for Sheldon.
At this point, Sheldon is no more talented than Daniel Hemric. They are the same driver who ironically are on very similar career paths.
Sam Mayer is Gene Haas’s kind of driver. He could care less about points, he wants trophies!
What would be funny if after all your talk, Creed ends up winning 3 or 4 races in the playoffs and the title. I mean, it’s not really a stretch to see it happening since he’s consistently in contention.
Or he pulls a Daniel Hemric in the 18 again as well
He is missing in speed this year. But also had no luck. Right now he is underrated, but at any time could start a domination.
feels weird eric is dunking on creed so much. called him old n young in the same speech and spoke of him being a top 7 xfinity driver at 26, idk eric gives a lot of guys grace but feels like very heavy criticism for creed a couple times now
He has constant L takes, add it to the extremely long list.
So Creed is leaving Gibbs to go to Haas that quickly. That one blows my mind.
Very odd for him to leave that soon
@@matthewgrear3260probably got the boot for heim time
It is probably funding Joe Gibbs probably can’t get enough sponsorship for him while Gene Haas can put his logo on a car when he needs a sponsor.
Some people can’t hold on to a good job.
No way he leaves voluntarily. Not like Ford is a better option to get to Cup in a top ride.
Right rear hooking a car, over the line 11:27
Yes, a driver could be seriously injured.

Give me a break about Dillon. It was Dillons race and someone wanted stenhouse to take a dive. To many races being settled by overtime. Best car rarely wins and it is sad.
Yeah, imagine Joey Logano Mickey Mousing his way into 2 wins. I’m so tired of late race cautions and GWC finishes. It’s like if, in football, they tied the score at the 2 minute warning and made it sudden death from there. Either that, or make all GWC overtime’s single file restarts. It will help prevent the whole “rolling advantage” (or just give the cars some horsepower where that doesn’t matter).
It’s all rigged. You can bet the family jewels that the 23 will not miss the playoffs.
@@nathan1sixteenI like the idea of single file restarts. It’s only fair to the person who was leading the race, especially the way guys are jumping and rolling restarts.
Edit: It’s kind of odd to think that Ryan Preece has been the cause of or has been involved in a crash that has resulted in multiple OT finishes this year.
Your so true
I think Nascar should race to scheduled distance like they used to in the 90s and what every other current motorsport does it like Indycar. F1, etc. No more overtime/GWC. That way it eliminates most of the controversy and the deserving winner wins the race.
KB is right! Drivers dont know where its at because Logano and Hamlin seem to bump, wreck and win whenever they want to. Nothing is ever done to them, nothing. So where is the line? Is it when you make a big stink and burn out on pit road?
To be fair, if NASCAR says that they ‘believe a line was crossed’ then they should be able to clearly define what the line is.
Four women make history in the ARCA Series, all 4 finish in the top 8, with two getting podium finishes, well done ladies….
