As a lifelong KFB fan, if Kyle Busch doesn’t win at Daytona, then he doesn’t win at all this year. I’m just happy that he broke Petty’s record last year. If he wins at any point this year, that’s just a cherry on top.

The Childress cars have stepped it up. That 3 is always strong at restricted tracks. If the 8 stays out of trouble “wrecks” he could easily win at Daytona.

Just like Chase Elliott last year, it’s either Daytona or bust for Kyle Busch this season.
The drivers below the playoff outline that have a realistic shot for an upset win at Daytona are both the front row cars, Kyle Busch, and shockingly enough Corey Lajoie. Everyone else with all due respect, is an afterthought.Daytona will be a must see TV race this weekend. We could see a different winner or if not, a repeat winner.

Ima think on something crazy. Justin Haley. Despite being in a Rick Ware car he has done decent on superspeedways, and he’s won here before, even if it was entirely on luck. He ran in the top ten multiple times this year at superspeedway tracks, and I think he might just be able to pull Rick ware’s first win and playoff ticket off.

Chris Buescher is my pick if i had to choose. With McDowell or Carson Hocevar being possibilities. Buescher is due and has been consistent plus RFK is due. McDowell does well on superspeedways, and Hocevar and Spire as a whole have been running well as of late.
