And we still have dates at Talladega and Atlanta on the calendar too. We could easily come back to this comment in a couple of weeks and there will have been 3-4 more flips added to the tally.
Darrel waltrip said years ago that whenever Nascar makes improvements after a big crash, the drivers and cars find a new way to wreck to send Nascar back to the drawing board.
Commentary was just talking about the improvements to the cars to keep them on the ground during the big one and McDowell near flip
Daytona is known for wrecks but was it just me or did the wrecks seem odd in this race. Someone taking a solid hit directly in the driver side door and this one here. Spinning like a top. Plus at least one car engulfed in flames. It was weird but highly entertaining.

Been quite a few airborne crashes in indycar this year as well.
Dang
But Who’s Counting
NASCAR has f-cked the cars up once again. These roll overs are from NASCARS design. They have fu-ked the owners, teams and drivers once again
It literally happened just a year after Preece flipped in that same area
The flips are kind of similar the way.
They get in the air difference Berry didn’t roll 10 times
And they’re both Stewart Haas cars
@@americanwalmarts3565 That too
@@TwotheTpotwhat I found interesting is that the entirety of the NextGen era flips are mostly Fords

NASCAR is about to make the cars max out at 120mph
and cars will still flip
They gotta fix the flaps cause they not working anymore and I think it’s the flat underbodies
Worst part of it was hitting the wall, but nobody acknowledges it. They just wanna talk about the car getting air, which is the cool way to crash out.
Josh Berry said that the flip looks worse than it was
They did acknowledge it during the replay
They discussed it on broadcast bro
They did. Did you even watch the actual race you bum?
That was a hard lick into that wall
Fires flips big ones tonight was insane!!
I streamed on Peacock. We got full screen commercial breaks dur8ng green flag racing after NBC said they wouldn’t do it during the green flag
Nothing But Commercials
@@RooneyMac thats fox
I have Peacock and yes they showed full screen commercials so I switched to NBC sports app and no more full screen commercials only during cautions
congrats you figured out Peacock is not the same as NBC, get an antenna
