IMO, Ross Chastain is to NASCAR what Baby Park is to Mario Kart Double Dash. He is the driver that brings out pure rage and euphoric joy all at the same time. He is the embodiment of chaos and I am all here for it!
It’s good 4 entertainment he’s like the clown that rubs drivers too much but most time he rubs seems like fair racing he quit the punting hits last year
See I think you have it wrong Darrell Wallace did the same but pulvarized kyle, but this time its the reversed, Ross is dangerous, its that mix of in over his head and Joey logano when he was in the 20 driving, just remains the same, never improves with class, and doesn’t own up to himself and his twitch/oversteer of the turn
@Gigacolorscapes most idiotic take I have ever heard. Ross finished 2nd in the championship last year and is leading the points this year. Joey is a 2 time champion. They are not in over their head. That is simply their style of racing.
Ross with the right cross. Don’t Cross Ross. I’ve been laughing for an hour. I’m a hockey guy. You grab a guy by the collar, expect a punch in the face. Noah dropped the gloves, Ross responded.
No fear… !
tell that to Brendan Poole (see dover) kyle Busch (phoenix 2021) Ryan Blaney (Richmond 2022) Denny Hamlin (Gateway 2022) Chase Elliot (Gateway 2022) Kyle Larson (Sonoma 2022) Kevin Harvick (Darlington 2018) those are starters
Imo, this was a classic Nascar race. You got tempers flaring, good racing, and a finish that wasn’t spoiled by overtime. Everything felt natural, and this is what Nascar desperately needs.
GREAT reply! I have been watching NASCAR since 1985, me and my dad going to the firecracker 400 until we could get Daytona 500 tickets because they used to be sold out for years and years just like Bristol used to be. Like Noah Gregson has room to complain, I remember that road course race a couple years ago in Xfinity where he took a swipe at somebody and wrecked him and a couple other cars. Yes good old stock car racing, I was in shock and awe seeing so much passing action so many driving lines used. Kansas used to be a boring race, even the truck race had the same on track action, and a few tempers. One day Ross Chastain and Noah Gregson might have a laugh at this. I remember a young Kevin Harvick being called a bonehead by Todd Bodine because of a similar move. right after one of my favorite drivers passed on, and if you ever saw Bristol 1999, the night race, then you will see what rattling a cage can do, and Dale senior did it in 1995 too to Texas Terry Labonte, and that guy was PO’d at the 99 Bristol race, along with Ricky Rudd, and buddy of Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace. Wherever I wore that hat I got cussed at or Earnhardt ‘s an a hole as my one boss back then said and I just that that’s a racing deal. I remember that time Jeff Gordon gotten that wicked fight I believe it was with Keselowski, and the infamous Jeff Burton and Clint Bowyer dust ups. What happened is anybody that hasn’t watched NASCAR as long as me, it’s thrown off by this, action-packed racing from lap to lap I can’t remember seeing such action on track watching a race, unless you go back in time maybe even before the car of tomorrow. If you want scandal, going to both Daytona races in 2000 in person. Our first Daytona 500 in the stands and no passing whatsoever. Literally after like 20 laps of what would be called a Choo Choo train, you can see people starting to stare at each other saying what’s going on? And then when the 400 came along in July, again everyone started looking at each other around 20 laps at the most wondering when passing will happen. And it would take that little strip of metal called a Wicker on the top of the roof to make the greatest Talladega race ever and last time Earnhardt senior won, by using the throttle, seeing the air. I guarantee Ross and Noah one day will laugh at this, like when Rusty Wallace through that water bottle and hit Dale Earnhardt senior in the face I think that was 94 or 1995 after Bristol. or Darrell Waltrip that couldn’t stand him and called him a stroker his first few years and obviously never getting to be teammates with Junior Johnson. There’s some pretty cool comments here, I wouldn’t change a thing the brawling has to be kept to a minimum. Noah was pretty handsy, and Ross was lightning quick. Yeah it’s nice to feel the NASCAR vibe again, and honestly NASCAR needs to learn everything they can from this race at Kansas. Heck, didn’t even get into the Kyle Larson Denny Hamlin rivalry. Funny thing is I really didn’t think Hamlin or Chastain did anything intentional, there was just some fast Dang racing and it was awesome!
Love this. Both these guys are the future of this sport. Hoss Ross brings the chaos, hope he starts to embody this reputation he has more and owns it, fists and all. Leaves it all on the track every race, can’t ask for more as a fan.
So many wrecks in this race, but of course Ross is the Scapegoat for all of Nascar. It’s a horrible position to put someone in, the fox booth even uses him. It’s disgusting to watch unfold.

What takes do you have on Ross Chastain vs Noah Gragson
The watermelon man is the man! Lol he’ll wreck you on and off the track!!!
They deserve each other.
I’ve been waiting so long for Gragson to get hit, so I love it lol
Wasn’t Noah Gragson running everyone over last year in Xfinity? I think he’s the last person who should be confronting Chastain.
I expected Ross to get in a fight this year
I did NOT expect it to be Noah Gragson
cry baby boy noah still hasn’t been in a fight.
Ross has Got to work on his combinations.
I thought Noah was saving it for Ty Jesus Gibbs
It’s a good thing they stopped it he was coming for blood!
Ross and Noah are making this sport great again!
Chastain smiling is guaranteed to become a meme. Guaranteed.
He looks tike a beaver
Good on Ross for standing his ground on keeping it between them

Good analogy. Big Bowser shells bouncing everywhere.
It’s good 4 entertainment he’s like the clown that rubs drivers too much but most time he rubs seems like fair racing he quit the punting hits last year
Ross is the driver NASCAR needs and deserves if they want to grow the sport.
@Stock Racing Unlimited after a last lap turning of Larson .

But no one would get hurt if they had those huge gloves on
@Gigacolorscapes most idiotic take I have ever heard. Ross finished 2nd in the championship last year and is leading the points this year. Joey is a 2 time champion. They are not in over their head. That is simply their style of racing.
Noah took Brennan Poole’s advice very well!!
And got punched in the face.
“I’ve got 2 opportunities every race” sounds like a promise
Every time Ross laps him?
Sounds like a mediocre driver

No fear… !
Noah must have been having drinks with his dad in jail
Not a Chastain fan (quite opposite), but Noah was running 29th with 3 laps down… Let’s not pretend like Chastain ruined your day lol
Kinda like Poole at Richmond
Noah was running solidly in the Top 20 all day until he hit the wall. I’d say his frustration is valid.
@JackLikesTrackhouse then he shouldn’t have hit the wall. He had room
Chastain’s psychic powers are getting scary. He keeps wrecking people from a foot away

We just need more of this kinda races

Noah has a point – Nobody ever confronts Ross
Now nobody will but if they will they might as well make 5 dentist appointments before walking towards ross
Based on the results it wasn’t a very good idea was it
Ross had to be protected – Punch or Not
@JJA1987 wah wah
Imagine the chaos if Ross raced back in 2010, with Stewart, Rageaholic Kurt Busch, Edwards, Kenseth, hell even Ambrose and Montoya would throw hands
Jimmy Spencer vs Ross Chastain.
Happy Meal vs Water Melon Man
