Holy crap! It’s gonna be weird next year without Kevin Harvack racing full-time

One incredible career, hope he has a great retirement

I had a feeling that this was gonna be happening since his contract ran through 2023.

Another possibility for Kevin Harvick is that he could re open KHI and since Kevin Harvick helped buy the CARS Tour, his son Keelan could race in it if he chose to go to the nascar route and then in trucks and xfinity, after he finishes ARCA, he could race for his dad’s team and then for cup, he could race for SHR.

He already used the hashtag KHI return when did some testing of the late model car Rodney built that eventually when old enough keelan will be driving

@John Haas Late Model testing ay, I know it’s not a CARS Tour Late Model.

This should surprise no one. This was the final year of Harvick’s contract and said on the Dale Jr. Download that 2021 would have been his final year. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Truex announce his full-time retirement soon also.

It’s sad to hear Harvick retire but I expected it. He’s had a legendary career with incredible moments. It’s going to be so weird to not see him in the field next year. Thank you Harv for 22 years.

He would need another season to beat Jeff Gordon Ironman record of consecutive starts.

I expected it to happen last year if not this year.

Either way, it was a hell of a career from start to finish.

Even though I never closely followed Harvick and Kurt Busch, seeing them both leave within 2 years kinda hurts to see. 2 old legends now out of the driver’s seat

At least Kurt will be part time for 2023. I’m still hopeful for a full season farewell from Kurt.

I remember when I was a kid both Harvick and Kurt were young and aggressive. Would go at it with the vets. Kurt got flipped off by Dale Sr and punched by Jimmy Spencer. Harvick got into it with everyone especially at the superspeedways. Harvick vs Joe Nemechek was a good one.

As a Harvick fan, I hate to see him not running, but I’m happy too because he’s had a dang good career, and is no doubt a first round hall of famer. Nothing would be better than to see him pull a Peyton Manning and ride off into retirement with another championship.

Maybe he can race the important races part time for a few years

I’ve been expecting this for awhile which is why Ross is my next guy but harvick will and may always be my number one.

Love him or hate him he’s one of the greatest drivers in Nascar history. It’s not going to be the same without him.

I don’t blame him one bit. He has nothing left to prove. But I’m still sad and will miss him. He’s been a part of my weekends for nearly 23 years ❤️

Sorry to hear about Harvick retiring, he was one of the few drivers left with a personality, and was never afraid to speak his mind. I hope that Michael McDowell gets the 4 car, in my opinion he should’ve been the one that replaced Custer in the 41 this year.

Bold in my opinion but that’s just me. I would think front row would keep McDowell in case Todd Gilliland flops in the 38.

They will probably move Ryan to the 4 and put Cole back in the 41

Congrats Harvick on a hell of a career I remember when he started

I may not have always been his biggest fan. But I’ve pulled for Happy several times over the years. He was a part of my childhood, and I’ll be genuinely sad to see him go. Wishing him and his family the best!

I’ve been a Kevin Harvick fan for most my life and it’s gonna be bitter sweet when he announces it officially but he has nothing left to prove. One of the greatest drivers of all time and a future hall of fame driver. He better get the retirement tour he deserves. Love him or hate him he’s one of the top 10 drivers of all time

Became a Harvick fan in 2005. To see him go from 4 wins to 60 wins, Daytona 500, NASCAR Cup champion, and many more accolades. Mannnn I just hope I get a chance to see him race this year and get a chance to meet him.

I remember imagining Dale Sr’s retirement (2005 I think it should have been?) with old friends & even my dad in 2000 when we visited DEI. I have been a Harvick fan since his 2000 RCR Busch 1st run. Seeing him do all he has done from marrying Delana to having take over the #3/#29 to having a family, I congratulate him on a great carrier & I am VERY anxious to see the Cars tour series. We even share a b-day, I turned 50 when Harvick turned 47 om Dec 8th 2022. Nice new room set up Eric & thanks for all you do!
