Sanchez drove right through her

Again someone slammed into the back of her truck.

Not her biggest fan but that wasn’t her fault.

That was a hard hit for Hailie Deegan.

OK, she got wrecked here. Yes, racecraft and racing etiquette in truck series are poor.

Still, Deegan usually gets involved in all those wrecks because she rides around 15th in a Thorsport truck.

Obviously, it’s not her fault. Ford must help her. Deegan should get the 4 in the Cup once Harvick retires.

15th is still respectable

@James Zeigler It would be great for a small team. Consistently running 15th in a Thorsport truck is underwhelming.

Sanchez knows she was 7th last year and again Sanchez can’t handle that she is better on this Track. Threatened by a Girl.

(…honestly was hoping Deegan crew pull a Days of Thunder – pull out the fenders, slap on four stickers and let her go out to plow into Sanchez then back to the garage…) Zane Smith after race interview where he straight-up says or implied ‘I wish I wasn’t in this series’. From drivers chat, it’s a common thread for last few years. Imma Deegan fan, as well as other drivers. For the truck series, seems like there is a leadership problem. Frankie Muniz might be an interesting follow… hard to imagine he’d wanna get anywhere near this wreckfest mess series!

That’s not the first time for Deegan to be wrecked by him

Haille gets taken out again. She never gets any respect.

Nick needs to learn to lift. Give and take is something that drivers need to learn again

I’m not her biggest fan either, but Nascar’s lower series have a real problem with their attitude about women drivers and respect. Hailie never complains, but we know it exists. I think more women would watch if this wasn’t such an obvious issue.

Not just women, they don’t respect anyone on the track, even have teammates wrecking each other.

Kinda what Nascar always does, it’s just another reason Nascar just gets worse and worse every year

Yeah she’s white and female but he’s a minority driver..you know who Nascar going to back..

Lmao.. big difference between getting hooked into the wall and getting dumped from behind. Right rear quarter panel vs right rear bumper, if you can’t tell which one is more dangerous, you need to look at nascar’s history.

Getting hooked into the wall off the quarter panel has ALWAYS been something that you never do. You’re potentially risking someone’s life.. Dale Sr. with his skull fracture, more recent with Newman’s bruised brain, etc etc.. and this incident ain’t that, bub. This was just a straight up dump and run from behind. At no point did Sanchez hook her quarter, just never lifted and dumped her off the right side of her back bumper.

Not defending Sanchez, just stating that this incident is no where near the same as the Denny/Chase incident.

This isn’t Talladega or Daytona. You can’t bump-draft at tracks like this. And that’s giving Sanchez the benefit of the doubt he didn’t just straight up dump her.

This is a good example of why I am not a fan of Nascar racing. There needs to be time penalties for driver error leading to contact and crashes. If I want to watch a demolition derby I will just go to a local fair.

I feel sorry for the team! Having a female who is capable running upfront, unfortunately, doesn’t sit well with the boys out there. Surely they can’t accept being beaten by a girl. I don’t see these results for deegan ending.

Sanchez should be relegated to finish below Deegan and suspended for the next race. Contact was purely avoidable so it was deliberate. Elliott was suspended for wrecking Hamlin and so should Sanchez. In the first lap, he was identified as causing damage by hitting someone there. He is a loose cannon,
