I think Harrison Burton should pull a JHN and drop back down to another series since he showed winning speed in xfinity. He’s not in a top ride so you can’t blame him too much, but he could use that winning feeling again as he matures and learns.
Penske originally wanted Burton in an Xfinity car but DEX Imaging had other ideas. I think he is in over his head. The 21 car is a good car .
@John very likely in over his head. I would love to see him restart the Penske xfinity program with Dex, I miss seeing them run.
Zane smith should do one full year in xfinity too!

@RDSk I had no idea there even was rumors of a third car right now. But if they can get Zane Smith. That will become my new number one favorite ford them.
It will be interesting with the lack of success where Ford and Thorsort go with Deegan.
She will go to Xfinity series with SHR

I do think she’d be better off in Xfinity, but I also think Xfinity would be her ceiling.
She seems to bring a lot of fans, which = funds to a team, so I don’t see her without a ride anytime soon., She may improve in the Xfinity series as her run there was better than 95% of her truck runs have been.
McDowell deserves a better ride
Gilliland has been trying to prove himself this season as Front Row cut his full time schedule back to Allow Zane to run the 38/36 cars
Trying!?! He has imo. Maybe get a top 5 or two. But damn.
Todd deserved a good car
I definitely agree with Zane to the 38 since front row moved Todd out in select races to drive for Rick ware which I think is where Todd will drive next year even though he deserves much better equipment
Small chance RFK could grab him if they find a third charter somehow. They seem to like the underdogs
@shmeeve Yeah, I would like to see that as RFK has been rather competitive lately. Only charter I could see them buying is the #77 charter for Spire
@Dice Guy I agree, although if SHR was smart they’d downsize to three teams, could also see RWR selling their second charter or maybe the whole team
I think Todd should look elsewhere. Why should he continue to race for a team that clearly doesn’t have him as one of their top priorities. He should go somewhere like SHR or maybe even Kauling, develop in the Xfinity series with them.
I can see Todd Gilliland or Harrison Burton fitting in well with Kaulig in Xfinity

-Much as I like him propping the team up after the last two seasons, I think Front Row needs to either offer McDowell a cushy job like head of competition and grovel to keep Gilliland around or let him start talking with other teams like SHR (still grovel to keep Gilliland). They’re getting the hardware figured out, they just need a super duo of young guns to build towards a team like Trackhouse or 23XI
-Berry definitely to the 4, I think Almirola will stay just due to the sheer money he’s able to make for running on auto pilot and doing very little.
-Truex is staying, after last year it fills a painful gap and this team is getting back on track for sure.
-Lajoie stays in the 7 for the reasons you mentioned, but they return the 77 to part time and lease the charter out to another team (perhaps they take advantage of Front Row’s situation and that allows them to keep their 3 drivers for now?)
-Haley is going nowhere, both him and AJ are specialists at their own craft (Plate and Road) and for now that’s what Kaulig needs to build some momentum and potentially bring more sponsorship.
-Wood Brothers need to cut Burton immediately, yeah he’s a work in progress and wasn’t expected to put up numbers like Matty D immediately, but this kind of performance is miserable for a team that was a yearly playoff contender with even Paul Menard four years ago.
It might just be me but I feel like Michael McDowell should get better equipment. He’s sper underrated imo
I think John Hunter Nemechek is waiting for when that 19 car comes available and I think Spire needs to sell the 77 charter and focus exclusively on the 7.
No the 77 needs a good, motivated driver. I like Ty but he is not doing the job at all !
Corey outperforms Spire equipment
I saw someone bring this up the other day but while Ty Dillon may suck, I think he brings some extra RCR help to teams. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that when he was at LMC (Petty GMS) they won a race and now that he’s at Spire the 7 is running decent.

I love Ty and it’s not his fault his cars are bad. Last year the 42 sucked and it does this year too as well as the 77 it sucked last year and this year. Also he drove with Gaunt Brothers and Germain. So if u give him good equipment don’t expect wins but top 10s and top 15s
I really hope Berry is good in the 4, but based on how SHR has been doing recently…
