To be fair Preece recently has consistently been running top 15 except for Kansas
That’s what I’ve been saying
Yeah he has 4 top 20s in a row
lot of his results were getting caught up in wrecks and some mechanical failure
Preece definitely been doing better latly
not bad, but I think he’s still massively overhyped
I love your videos Eric keep it up
Things have not gone well for most of my favorite drivers this season…
Same
Hendricks fan?
@Mtk Macktheking absolutely not. Being a Hendrick fan is probably awesome right now unless Elliott is your favorite driver
Suarez is a real disappointment to me so far this year, i really thought he’d be enjoying his breakout season
id replace him as a driver and amirola needs to retire as well
There have been races he’s been in the top 10 but bad luck or driver mistakes have taken him down, I still have hopes for the remaining half of the season, at least a win in a road course or a superspeedway
@ShanGamerreplace Suarez? That’s a little too far
@AvelPlayz Ya the guys decent not horrible like some drivers
Suarez is the definition of a mid driver. Does OK. Hard to replace without spending big $$$$$
Just clicked on the video hope JJ Yeley is in the S-tier
Part time = no show sorry
He really is though that 51/15 when he’s driving it has pretty consistently finished on the lead lap in so many races this year.
Rick is buying the flip engines from RFK while operating out of their shop now. That alone seems to have been a massive improvement for their running order and qualifying speed.
I really hope people did not bully Ross into becoming more calm on the track. Watching him be so chaotic and reckless is honestly so fun to watch and we have needed a driver like that who is different from everyone else for so long. Everyone whines about “no personality” in the sport but when we finally get it, they complain and it want it gone. Ross Chastain got here and runs up front because of his extreme aggression and imo he shouldn’t calm down at all. Idc how stupid it can get at times. It also helped lead to the iconic hail melon
Your right. It’s what makes Chastain special
The main problem is you don’t wanna make too many enemies, otherwise no one will give you a chance to win
On the contrary, I’d argue it’s his personality that rubs people the wrong way. His constant apologies and promises to cut down on his mistakes after wrecking someone keep me, at least, from liking him. I’m sure I’m not the only one. If he embraced the villain role I think he’d have a larger fanbase.
Rare L. He could have hurt most of these guys in this awful car.
@fallenfetus Same. That is the only problem with him
KB moving to RCR was a huge win
Yeah.
W to RCR and Busch
It’s also probably a W to JGR, we can’t act like Gibbs isn’t in the midst of maybe the best rookie season in over a decade and the rest of the team isn’t absolutely crushing it
A comment from Kyles Sonoma win this year comes to mind every time I see Kyle doing well.
It was “Joe Gibbs punching air.” And the mental image is perfect.
Kyle knows he’s replaceable now, it’s humbled him a little and a blow to his ego. This is not a man who will take a blow to said ego laying down.
Even if he doesn’t get the championship, I want to see that 5 win season just to make Joe Gibbs sweat
Yea it was a huge move for kyle busch
As an Erik Jones fan, this season has been painful. Legacy Moter Club seems like that whole organization is cursed.
Yeah… Pre JJ they seemed like they were finally moving in the right direction! Now… It’s like a building dropped on them after they fell off a cliff!!!
I’d like to challenge the Almirola is “not as committed” line. He did just beat Larson in the Xfinity race, which seems mightily committed. SHR equipment is simply trash.
I’m a Truex and Blaney fan who during the clash made a bet Busch was winning the championship, This could be a very interesting playoff for me
Hi, resident Justin Haley fan here!
Would like it to be known that we have had top 20 speed almost every weekend this year. However, pit road has been HORRENDOUS for us this year, many bad pit calls as well as just slow pit stops. Kaulig’s program is building and while the finishes haven’t shown it we’ve had a damn good season so far!
Good to know! Thanks for the comment.
Most of Larson’s issues have been of Chastain’s doing.
Except for the gateway, he had a tire go flat on him while battling for the win. And Sonoma, what did happen to him cause he was not even mentioned or even a factor in that race
Dover yes, but mostly on larson and team. Mistakes like hitting wall or speeding on pit road. I believe Daytona is somewhat on him. I don’t know what the deal with Auto Club, Nascar or team? I kind of think team. Some on Denny Hamlin for that wreck. He was terrible after running into preece at Bristol dirt. I’m more mad at Denny.
@Travis ran in top 15 but I believe fell off last laps
@Branden Curtin don’t forget Talladega & Darlington. Aric blowing a tire in Atlanta while Larson was in 2nd.
@Acklapa_14 Darlington yes. And Ross or not they were gonna wreck at Dega
My three favorites, Blaney, Byron and Busch are all having a great year and it’s been wonderful to watch
Must be nice-elliot wallace and bowman fan
The B-Boys
@edward I know the pain
Being totally honest i would not be shocked if we saw Ricky Stenhouse make the round of 8 or even the final 4 with how consistent he is compared to the top guys i think if he makes it past the round of 16 he’ll make the round of 8
The talk that Justin Marks had with Chastain did the team/driver no favors.
I had Justin Haley as an upset pick for the playoffs this year, but so far I’ve been way off. Thanks to Stenhouse for blowing it up immediately.
Stenhouse is having a great year. I hope Legacy and Saurez can turn their seasons around.
Hot take but if Gilliland was in the 38 the whole year he’d be a sneaky playoff contender.
And FRM as a whole is a good pit crew away from being yearly playoff contenders. Imagine mcdowell had Blake Harris still, I think there’s a good chance he’d make the playoffs. McDowell honestly should have won Sonoma he had the speed to keep up with Truex
