Love how not even 20 laps into race and they were talking about rain. The rain was in forecast days prior yet here we are with a rain shortened race.

I understand the need to run night races in the South. Hell, I got sunburned at MIS. You can’t blame NASCAR for what Nature does.
I LOVE night races I wish every race was a night it drives me nuts how everyone complains I think most of the complaints are because they knew it was gonna rain but didn’t do anything like nascar can just tell the network and every person that had a ticket to come earlier it makes me giggle people actually think nascar can move tv network schedules around. And the ones that complain because they have to work on Monday morning suck so much while f1 fans wake up at 3:30am to watch the race.
Can someone explain what the deal is with the rain tires? The ones they used at wilkesboro for the all star heat races, and in chicago. Can they only use them at the start of a race or something? Why not tell everyone to switch to rain tires at the red flag and then keep racing instead of calling it short.
I understand the safety concerns, but I thought the point of the new rain tires is to make it safe to race on a wet track? Either way, it made for an exciting race, they drove like each lap could be the last one.
It would be especially dangerous to race in the rain on a superspeedway plus they’d be going so slow that it really wouldnt be a race anymore

TV scheduling and all the other nightmares when changing a race at the last minute. This isn’t Friday night dirt race in Podunk Iowa.
