Was definitely a crazy race lol
If people blamed Chastain at Atlanta for wrecking Harvick, then people should blame Hamlin for the Bowman crash
bruh denny never him dummy look at it again
Denny “Absolute” Hacklin
@Zackery Koroskenyihe knew what he was doing. You can still wreck someone by not touching them
I mean I hate Hamlin but you can clearly see he never touched Bowman there
@Irvingboy11(2)of course u dislike Hamlin because the crybaby elliot can’t handle his emotions
I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again Denny Hamlin will never win a championship mainly because of his attitude and the way he drives
Three things are guaranteed in life: Death, Taxes, and Dennis pissing off Hendrick Nation.
Denny Hamlin lives rent free in Hendrick fans heads.
I like Norm MacDonald’s version better. “The only things certain in life are death, taxes, and getting caught wacking off in a Target dressing room.”
As a Clyde Elliott, Williamson Byron, and Mr chastain fan I do indeed say f Dennis
@Andrew Clune0 Championships.
It doesn’t matter who the driver was. Denny couldn’t pass so he pushed the other car out of the racing line. Dirty move and he blamed it on the other driver.
When Blaney went down a cylinder I gave my TV screen the 1000 yard stare
Right. Leading the race and goes down a cylinder… Like, seriously?
Is that what happened?!?! I missed the entire race and watched the highlights but they didn’t mention Blaney. Man, us Blaney fans have been disappointed for like 5 weeks straight, mostly because of things that aren’t Blaney’s fault.
Lol!
@Yon Bonjour welcome to MTJ 2022. Dude ran up front all year and just had win after win ripped out of his hands….frustrating
I feel this. Blaney ….I just love the kid. Same here bro. Thousand yard stare….same here
I swear the 48 team is cursed. Like something bad always has to happen
Ever since bowman enter the 48 is when I left bi g a 48 car fan
@ironphant you could just say I rooted for Jimmie and now since he doesn’t drive 48 I don’t watch
12 too
At this point I find it hilarious that Hamlin is having these run ins with the Hendrick guys, Hell even Bubba Wallace & Tyler Reddick who drive for Hamlin’s organization 23XI Racing have had run ins with Larson at some point, But Hamlin Vs Larson is The most awkward at this point.
Kyle petty nailed it right on the head, you can’t tell someone there wrong when there always right. Thats Denny Hamlin in a nutshell. It comes down from the way he was raised to what he’s been allowed at JGR his whole career. Dennys overall persona is that he’s a dickhead with too big of an ego, and you can’t tell me that he’s not. Also look at the hood flaps on Dennys car, they go up when he makes contact with Larson, and then they go back down when he come off him. I mean that doesn’t lie.
That’s not how roof flaps work. They move with air, not contact. Watch any draft heavy race.
Getting someone loose without touching them is racing. If you can’t handle it keep your fenders off other competitors.
agreed, but thats why he has no championships and never will. He is easily broken like any bully ever.
@Josh H I’m not a Denny fan. But everything I saw was just racing. You bump, you bang sometimes you loose.
F1 is right there for you if you don’t like close racing. Denny had the spot. Larson could’ve let off or run himself into the wall.
The most frustrating part was how deserving of a winner Kyle Larson was. After getting wrecked out of the lead due to no fault of his own earlu, he battled back in a race where passing was difficult to get a chance to pull off the strategy to get and maintain the lead. Sort of like the 2022 Coca Cola 600 where one of the most outstanding shows of resilience gets ruined by a bonehead move by someone else. Coming from the “not enough respect” king makes it even worse.
Honestly if Logano didn’t have tire failures I think he would’ve won!
Honestly, you could argue Larson has had winning speed in like 15 different races this year. Whether it’s a caution, engine issue, Aric Almirola, or something else, something ruins Larson’s day
Man that Briscoe spin at the 600 was brutal. That was the most epic comeback I’d ever seen in racing.
Larson showed that he is up there with the legends Gordon, Earnhardt, Johnson, Waltrip, Petty, Pearson …. Should win his second championship.
Kyle larsen can take care of himself, the thing that bothers me about Denny is that if the shoe was on the other foot. he would be indignant about it and whine for the next month about driver etiquette and how the “new drivers” have no respect. I doubt you will hear another word about this from Larsen
Hamlin reminds me of how Ernie Ervin used to dive bomb the corner and wipe out the other driver thinking that,s how you race.
@gary meadorsdive bombs ok if you can hold your line. It’s when you wash up calls your in way to hot and take some one out that it’s a issue.
His exact words would be “check smt data “
Let’s be real at this point, this is who Hamlin is and always has been, I think a lot of fans forgot about it last season because of the Chastain shenanigans last season, but Hamlin has had wins like this almost every season of his career and gives the same interview at the end of these incidents, no wonder why he doesn’t have a championship
Totally agree and I bet he doesn’t win one this year
At this rate he will never win a championship.
its called racing and rubbing is racing
@larry jellisison that wasn’t rubbing.
McDowell is 5 races away from POINTING his way into the playoffs. Even though drivers have been penalized and missed races, that is pretty damn impressive.
I think denny Hamlin wouldn’t be so controversial if he didn’t complain so much about Ross
@Justin Koksee the thing about him is, Denny is in the middle of everything. Denny’s had a feud with nearly half the field at some point, but dude is not a clean driver. Then you add narcissism and a victim complex and it gets even worse
@Justin Kok I feel like large part of the heat is he went after Kyle Larson. Also, had it been someone like Joey Logano, I think he might have even gotten cheers.
I’ll say it again, with friends like Hamlin who needs enemies?
It’s hard to congratulate Hamlin’s finish when you’ve watched Kyle Busch’s amazing pass for the win in the truck race.
You could tell from Kyle Busch’s reaction after his win that even he thought his move to pass Corey Heim was a chkn sht move. I rewatched it numerous times to see what it was exactly that he did. I couldn’t see anything egregious (no contact), but he put his nose right up the 11’s tail and upset it’s balance. Kyle Busch’s demeanor after getting KBM’s 100th win should have been ebullient. It was not. It was more like sullen. He knew he didn’t deserve that victory. He stole it.
Best Pocono race in years. Honestly, Hamlin likes to run people in the fence and always plays the victim when people do something to him. That man’s gotta change quick. Also, I agree with the Preece caution, he had all the time in the world to get it going and if Preece got back going and NASCAR threw the caution too early, everyone would be furious.
NBC seems to go out of their way to make the fan feel the excitement on the track. Having Dale and Jeff, as the on-track announcers pays huge dividends for the fans. Kyle, Brad, and Rick keep it together, and professional.
Denny has lost any ability to get the benefit of the doubt. He’s been in too many incidents now, he doesn’t get more excuses. Nor does he deserve them, as Larson said “everyone in the group knows Denny is always right.”
I didn’t watch from 2013-2020. Went to the Daytona duels in 2021. I was definitely surprised hearing the boos for Denny in the stands. Two years of watching later it makes perfect sense. He’s the Kyle Busch of this current era.
