Another year, another Deegan move. Hope she finds something she can stick with some day.

THE WAIT IS OVER! Finally, I won’t have to settle for NR2003 or modded NH5!

If anyone wonders how IRacing will do in consoles, I recommend the world of outlaws game that they made last year.

It’s essentially the same games from before the ignition series though.

“Out of the Grues” is very fitting for October. Obviously Eric did that on purpose at the start.

I think pretty much everyone knows that Hailie is at her best when she’s just racing on dirt, like the rest of her family. However, based on her ability to maintain consistent performances of top 15 finishes or occasionally better, as well as the fact that the trucks can’t be trusted as a developmental platform anymore (except for a select few), I’d say give her a chance for at least a season or two.

To me, she has potential, and if it doesn’t work, that’s okay. She can return to racing on dirt, and she’ll be just fine. Not everyone will agree, and that’s fine. Your opinions are your own, but to me, she has just as much potential to succeed as anyone else. I’m just happy that she’s getting the opportunity.

Yeah I agree. While she’s been inconsistent for sure, she has had quite a bit top 15s this year, and the race she did in the Xfinity series she actually did well. Give her a chance.

@AdventureJunkieyeah but that one race was a year ago and she hasn’t done any xfinity races since then

very disappointed to have another exclusive license agreement, i was really hoping the license would remain open and we’d have some competition again however if there’s one company on the entire planet i’d trust to make the exclusive nascar game, it’s iracing.

Considering Moffitt has been around 15th in points all season, Deegan finishing 20th-25th in points would justify this move

One thing i think you’re underestimating is for AM this is their first year in Xfinity and Brett Moffitt is 15th in points, so i would day they’re doing very well for a first year non works team

I’d assume with Deegan being as marketable as she is. That Ford will be putting some more oomph behind them. I think with the more respectful racing in the Xfinity series will help her as she tends to end up in other peoples messes.

Honestly, from the world of sprint cars with 3 different engine sizes 410 (cubic inch block), 360 ci, and 305 ci, I would compare the truck series to the 305s because there’s almost no lifting in the throttle at all. It is all about keeping wheel spin up in sprint cars, I believe that’s comparable to the truck series. I have a feeling Hailie will have an easier time adapting to the Xfinity series, where there’s more power, more throttle control, and (for the most part) more responsible and respectful drivers.

There are some Pros and Cons within Hailie Deegan and AM Racing.

The Pros:
– She has a former Truck Series Champion in Brett Moffitt, who has experience in all three NASCAR Series. He’s been with Mid-Pack Xfinity Teams and has 2 Top 5s and 37 Top 10s with them (1 Top 5 and 23 Top 10s with Our Motorsports, as well as 1 Top 5 and 9 Top 10s so far with AM Racing).
– If Hailie goes back to Trucks after 2024, Moffitt can give Hailie some input for her to use during Truck Series practice and qualifying, which can be used in the actual race.
– Compared to AM Racing’s Truck Series team, the Xfinity Series team is showing promise for a team that struggles in the “Feeder” Series of NASCAR.
– In her One Start, she managed to Start 20th and slowly work her way up. In Stage 1, she Finished 18th. In Stage 2, she finished 16th. In Stage 3, 13th. A Top 15 in her First Start, showing that she can take Mid-Pack/Backmarker equipment, keep it clean and rally it to a decent finish.

The Cons:
– AM Racing is a small and relatively new team, that is experiencing some growing pains. Despite not being in the Playoffs, Moffitt has shown the speed and consistency with his results (0 Wins, 1 Top 5, 9 Top 10s, 0 Poles, 24 Laps Led, 20 Lead Lap Finishes, 3 DNFs, An Average Start of 18.2, An Average Finish of 16.4, and Currently 15th in Points).
– With a new team to the Xfinity Series, Hailie will have some shoes to fill with not only her teammate, but the rookies and veterans both on and off the track.

We have to remember Hailie has been in the wrong place at the wrong time many times. Also have to remember a guy the used to call” Swervin Irvan” back in the late 80’s. He finally landed good ride all the way to the Daytona 500 victory circle

As NASCAR console gaming fans, if there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s in our shared disappointment with Motorsport Games.

A massive win for all of us with IRacing getting the simulation game license!

Eric you mentioned Harrison Burton winning four races you did not mention he did not win in his last year in the xfiniety series running Joe Gibbs equipment.

I’m happy for Deegan. Trucks have never suited her, she will do better in Xfinity. And thank god for a new video game. I’m still playing NASCAR Thunder 04 lol.

The goal is to get more Women into NASCAR. She is the best candidate to bring more young people as wall as overall interest to Motorsports. She brings a huge amount of attention to wherever she goes. Truck Racing has helped her to this point. Her popularity is what allows her to drive in X and she knows that. Watch the haters field this news with none stop comments about Deegan and her Fans.
