Not taking anything away from him but that was damn near a super car race lol, at a track he’s more comfortable than our guys. All the stars aligned for him to do that

It was such a great season. A great Daytona 500, KFB breaking Petty’s consecutive years winning streak, SVG winning at Chicago and a great final race and great champion.

Denny Hamlin winning at Pocono! It was my first live race and I like Toyota. I feel lucky to have been at such a special race, Pocono win record, and 50th cup win for Hamlin.

I mean, TexARSE is still on the list, they didn’t improve the short track at all, Auto Club is gone, leaving a void that Atlanta can’t fill

The Fight at Kansas between Gragson and Chastain and history made with SVG winning the inaugural Chicago Street Course race were my main favorites.

Shane van Gisbergen…Showing the boys how to get the job done a street course.

Easily my favorite moment was SVG’s win at Chicago. Someone winning in their cup debut is something we will likely never see again.

Denny becoming the villain in 2023 is EXACTLY what the sport needed!

You say Shane was the unlikely underdog, but those of us in Australia and New Zealand that watch him dominate in street circuits every year knew he was a good chance. I was personally a little conservative and put him down for a top 5 if he had a good day, but I knew his talent, adaptability and his overall ability to learn a new track quicker than almost anyone else would be a huge help to him there!

I think some honorable mentions should go to:
AJ Allmendinger getting what could be his last win at the Roval
Michael Mcdowell’s DOMINANT Win at Indy
Chris Buescher’s unexpected breakout year

What a legendary season! NASCAR’s first street course, a return to North Wilkesboro, even if it was scary – a flip for the history books, tons of storylines between Hamlin, Chastain, Larson, the fall of Truex, and the rise of Blaney, an unexpected once in a lifetime win from Shane Van Gisbergen, amazing underdog wins from Stenhouse and McDowell, the final season of a legend in Kevin Harvick… this one’s gonna be a classic, happy 75th, NASCAR!

Guys, for me, this was the best NASCAR season that i’ve ever watched!

And, my boy Blaney finally got his championship!

This year reminded me a lot of 2018. Didn’t start off too great with boring races and controversies, then got better around the summer time. And just like 2018 a Penske car gets hot late and steals the championship.
