I ate breakfast in Maui one time with Jeff Gordon. I was 8 and recognized him. I asked for his autograph and he signed and we wound up finishing our breakfast together since we were the table next to him. I’m 35 now and will never not be a fan of Jeff Gordon.

I was 7 when I met Jeff outside of Daytona after a practice. He was in his personal car with his then wife Brook. He stopped and took multiple pictures and signed my hat and shirt. Never seemed “too busy” or “annoyed”. Lifetime fan here too now at 32.

Jeff Gordon was my favorite racecar driver, across all disciplines, growing up as a kid. Idk what it was about the 24 car with Jeff behind the wheel, seeing him win Daytona for the first time. As someone who is very nostalgic, I would have done anything to see you race back in the day, I’ve seen all the musicians i listened to growing up, but i never got the chance to see you race. Much love, well deserved, congratulations.
