Must’ve been great pass to go on win race with 35 left lol .
Hey, it’d be the same if there was a massive crash that ends with someone dead or a big-enough safety issue at the track (including in the stands)
Honestly, this was a horrible way to end the event, the godawful rain(there should be a rule that the race must make it all the way, and just have the last laps delayed to the next day or two), and honestly, who the hell demanded Zane to win again at Daytona, when it was going to be someone else(Tricon Garage was set to win in their first race), I hope Front Row never fields a truck for him at Daytona ever again starting next year, because it’s going to be stupid to see him win in the trucks at Daytona for the next 3-4 years like how Allmendinger won four straight NXS ROVAL races, what a underwhelming conclusion to this mess
I hope he goes to cup next year(and maybe put Deegan in the 38, or push Todd Gilliland down back to the trucks(unless his dad somewhat disagrees since David owns a Toyota team)
There’s a lot of Zane Smith fans who are happy, however. He’s a fan favorite so him winning regardless of circumstances would make people happy.
What’s wrong? The finish of the race was Ama-ZANE!
Now I think Craftsman now regrets coming back as the title sponsor for the truck series after this race.
