I’ve had enough of Austin Hill’s antics Eric
Thinks he Dale Earnhardt with zero of his badassery and barely half of the talent Dale had
Both Dale Earnhardt Sr and Austin Hill drives for RCR.
@@bighand1530yes we know that
I don’t think Austin drives like Dale Earnhardt. Ross Chastain or Sheldon Creed drives more like him. Austin is more calculated and not that aggressive.
@@kg0173 oh def not
But he believes he thinks like him
Which isn’t even close
Hope Jesse Love gets a cup ride at RCR before Austin
He’s more emotionally mature than Austin ever will be
Time will tell.
@@bighand1530time will tell?
It already has been told bro
@@JackCallSports I have not heard anything on Jesse Love being in the Cup Series.
@@bighand1530 yes that’s why I said I hope he does bro lol
Absolutely!
I am on the side of Shane Van Gisbergen and I am not a hater of Austin Hill. But if you hit someone, expect someone to hit you back.
Yes, but in this case SVG broke the track limits to get Austin, so it was illegal and cost Austin the win. If NASCAR gives SVG penalty then they should give the win back to Austin Hill.
What? lol. SVG was justified. Hill is entitled garbage.
@@kg0173 Nascar penalties are a joke. How would you even give Austin Hill the win back? Screw that. Tracks limits? So, basically, NASCAR is F1 now?
@@kg0173if that’s the case which it’s not hill should be suspended a minimum of 1 race for trying to right hook svg coming to the line.
@@kg0173only spot on the track that is off limits is in the esses. So SVG didn’t break limits
If you haven’t been watching the MX-5 cup you are missing out. Amazing drivers and amazing racing. Kid was amazing to watch.
The thing with Connor is that he knew what he was doing as he was learning in the Truck race, it’s just that everyone else surrounding him (particularly in the middle of the field) decided to race like animals.
Zilisch, Heim, SVG. The immediate future with a couple of others. It’s fun to think of SVG’s thoughts after being rooted. I’ll bet he had a smile on his face when he punted Hill. He’s going to take to NASCAR like a duck to water.
Austin Hill is a talented driver, but has repeatedly shown that’s he’s just not very bright.
The problem with Hill is he didn’t own it. He went out to blame SVG for not knowing how to run a road course (lifting too soon for some reason), which is ridiculous. If he’d laughed after the race (even if he didn’t feel like it) and just say, “yep I got him and he got me back, that’s racing” he would have made points with folks instead of losing them. For SVG, he had to send a message to the rest of the field if they think they’re going to use him up, he had to do that to make sure everyone knows what’s coming if they do that. Otherwise he’d be getting it every week.
Fitting how he said a guy who won championships in a series based on road courses, with a win on a road course in nascar already, doesnt know how to race road courses…
@@adamshearer4576 he does but Svg will not be pushed around like Austin hill he can say what ever to save face but we all know he shown true color in martinville last year
This is the best take. SVG has the rookie stripes on, but he’s no rookie driver and he knows how respect is earned on a race track.
Absufuckenlutely!
Austin Hill epitomizes a bullied kid who hit a growth spurt and finally stood up for himself. Problem is – he continues to see himself as the bullied kid. So while he’s a great driver he kind of wallows around and “bullies” the other drivers thinking he’s still “standing up for himself.” Guy needs to understand he isn’t the underdog anymore and his PR will improve. That and sometimes he just gives off a “duh” vibe, I think he reminds all of us of someone from High School.
Same with Logano.
The other thing that rubs me off about Austin Hill is except for one or two of his Xfinity wins, almost all of them have come from sheer luck after not having contended up front all race or he runs into others (or in races where he tries to win). Granted, it’s one thing that brings intrigue and excitement to the Xfinity Series, but his hypocrisy and antics are way too out there at this point for someone who hasn’t mostly shown enough talent to lead and dominate a race on a consistent basis. I was on team SVG on this incident.
Kinda gives Ryan Newman vibes lol
As soon as I watched my first Mazda MX-5 Cup race Zilisch was the dude that impressed me most along with Tyler Gonzalez. This guy is huge in his driving style and craft and I believe could be a force in many forms of motorsports for a decade or more.
The problem I’m having with Austin Hill is that he tried to right rear SVG coming out of the final corner on the final. He doens’t own up to the things he does and blames SVG, who is still very new to these cars, for not racing him clean. He’s got the maturity of a teenager and has been since like 2022. it’s why almost all fans don’t like Austin Hill.
For Zilisch to be able to transition from the various different types of racecars as seamlessly as he does is pure talent… This kid is going places…
Everyone has a coworker that tries to “Austin Hill” themselves out of a problem they caused.
For me, I started souring heavily on Hill after his appearance on Dale Jr Download last year. Him talking about the whole Myatt Snyder incident and how he’s not going to tolerate “being bullied” (when he’s arguably the bully in the situation) came across like “I’m a golden boy who can do no wrong, look at all the mistakes other people make, it’s never my fault.” The Martinsville and now COTA situations reflect the same energy for me. I don’t really take too much issue with how he drives either, it’s purely how he carries himself off the track and how he’s evidently incapable of swallowing his pride.
I loved that interview. He’s a real man.
Connor Zilisch really caught my eye at the Rolex 24 this year, he was driving like a veteran in that LMP2 car even though it was his first start, not only in that car, but also in the Weathertech Championship as a whole! I think of all the races he’s done this year his worst finish is 4th (Craftsman Truck Series at COTA and the ARCA East race at Five Flags Speedway), from my count his finishes are 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 4th, 4th
Lifting early my azz!!! You absolutely knew Hill was going to run thru him on turn 1, SVG I’m sure knew that, SVG ran in as far as he could and Hill still hit him. I used to like hill but he’s turned into a real RCR piece of work all right. Guess I’m a “Never Hill’er” now.
Everybody knew that SVG was the class of the field in that race. He was so far ahead of people. There was daylight between him and the rest of the pack before those stupid cautions came out. Hill knew he had one chance, and that was to drive SVG off the track, and that’s exactly what he did. Unfortunately he didn’t realise SVG was going to be that quick in getting back to him. Once SVG got right on his bumper, he jammed on the brakes so that the push from SVG would look so much worse and damage SVG’s car, because he knew he couldn’t beat SVG if his car was still intact. To have him then complain about it afterwards it’s just ridiculous and I’m glad everybody is calling him out on it. I’m just absolutely gutted that SVG lost his race position based on a ridiculous rule by NASCAR. What a joke.
Hill fucked around with Gizzy and found out
