Missing: Kyle Busch throwing his HANS device at Casey Mears in 2006.
i was about to say theres no way busch hasnt thrown anything lol
NASCAR posted this just as i searched drivers throwing things
Like how NASCAR posts this as promotion yet banned drivers from doing this as of 10 years ago. Or at least now they fine them a ton if they do this. Tracks like Bristol depended on this type of entertainment.
They didn’t fine Dillon when he threw his helmet at Reddick last year, or Blaney when he threw his hans at Jones 2 years ago
Ward Burton is a classic when he threw his heel pads at Dale Jr in the night race at Bristol 2002.
Great stuff!
Nothing will beat Ward Burton.
No footage of YRB throwing his HANS at the Coliseum???? Oh that’s right, nobody got it except someone on their phone.
A good one nobody talks about: 1997 Busch Series race at Richmond, after Joe Bessey got wrecked by Dale Shaw, Bessey threw his helmet at Shaw’s car and actually threw it into the window. One lap later, Shaw pushed the helmet back out the window at the area of Bessey’s car.
Is the penalty steeper for throwing hands vs a helmet?
Also..how much do the new helmets cost?
I forgot how beautiful those 1990s Nascar cars look
