If I were a billionaire I would personally pay for the upgrades to the power grid for Talladega to get lights, that would be such a cool feature and it would open the door to some endurance road racing like Daytona has

Not to mention the rocky terrain you would have to dig into to install said lights. It would primo expensive just for installation let alone maintenance and usage.

Being from Talladega Co. you are spot on about the power grid. When I was a growing up in the 80’s ,if it was to snow which doesn’t happen much in Alabama we would be with out power for al least a week and I’m talking about a light snow. Maybe one to two inches of snow
