Cody Ware returning is an utter disgrace

I mean if he was acquitted then I guess he deserves a chance to come back. I don’t like it either but it’s fair

Why is it a disgrace?

@@JackCallSports were you there to see it happen or are you parroting a news article? the charges were dropped, he was never convicted of anything. So again, how is this a disgrace?

The only reason he is a Nascar driver is because of who his daddy is – otherwise he would not be driving in Nascar. As is too many other drivers in Nascar also unfortunately. For the dignity and respect of the sport, Nascar drivers should be there instead because of their natural abilities, skills, and talent.

Boo-fucking-hoo. He’s objectively a good racecar driver. Who TF cares where he comes from? It’s not like his Dad is giving him a ride and he’s wasting it away like Dillon or Cody Ware

@@wesleyem3I think @heavenlyblue is talking about Cody Ware, not Chase Elliott.

Hendrick 5/9 55% winning avg. are they the team to beat this season ?!

Kaz Grala losing his seat to Cody Ware has got to be one of the most egregious examples of nepotism I’ve ever seen in NASCAR. Grala might not put that team in the winners circle, but he also won’t wreck the car week and week out like Cody does. You can’t grow as a team if you keep having to repair the car instead of spending time developing it.

@gp2engine823 April 16, 2024 at 4:41 pm

I’m not sure it is losing the seat. I think he is expected to enter something like 26 races this season, if I’m not mistaken(may be a completebullcrap)

Reply
@BlueJimmie48Fan April 16, 2024 at 4:46 pm

It was already announced that Grala will be doing 25 starts

I can see Chase Elliott winning the 2024 championship possibly. I think he has that extra drive due to how he performed last year. Kinda like how Ryan Blaney was back in 2022 compared to 2023. And I can see Ryan Blaney potentially pulling off a Jimmie Johnson. And I feel like Joey Logano is more or less in the same boat as Chase Elliott. 24 for the 24 would be nice and fitting. And Kyle Larson is someone not to underestimate.

Well, everyone wanted more cautions and DNFs… Cody Ware will sure raise those numbers

@Momentum_Racing April 16, 2024 at 4:33 pm

I’m surprised you didn’t have Joey Logano in your power rankings. Past 4 races he’s had a worst finish of 11th. Thats decent consistency going into Talladega, which is one of his best tracks. Where did you rank him Erik?

Reply
@samruth240 April 16, 2024 at 4:49 pm

I would argue that right now Chase Elliot is more consistent that MTJ

Reply
@jeremiegranger7285 April 16, 2024 at 4:53 pm

When you add Chastain, Keselowski, Joey Logano, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr, Denny Hamlin, and Chase Elliott at Talladega you know there’s going to be a wreck. But adding Cody Ware just might take out the whole field by the time we get to the end of stage 2.

Chase Elliott has the chance to win multiple races now, especially with Talladega and Dover coming up…

Chase is maybe top 5 or top 7 of current drivers I wouldn’t say he is simply back after one win but it certainly wouldn’t surprise me either

Quick note. Kyle Larson has been leading the regular season standings sense vegas. He also has led the most laps (531). Exactly 3 times the amount Byron has (177). Just for refrence, Denny has led 2nd most with 395.
