The strategy throughout this race was crazy. So many cars on different plans. I feel terrible for the 12. The battle between Bell and Blaney was going to be incredible.
“You ran me out of gas!” No, son… you should have let up on the gas pedal and conserved some fuel. Maybe the crew chief didn’t talk him through it and give him info? Not sure what his lead was, but probably could have afforded some time to save just enough gas.
Blaney’s crew didn’t get his tank full on the final stop. They were well within the window to make it without having to save, and no one else was close to running out.
Blaneys crew chief literally told him to “drive it like you stole it” so you cannot blame Ryan he had no clue they were close on fuel
Hocevar pitted before him and made it just fine

The 12 team had the opposite strategy of Lightning Mcqueen.

Hilarious people actually feel sympathy for Blaney, if Christopher Bell’s car doesn’t have issue he absolutely runs away from Blaney in the last 25 laps. Blaney didn’t stand a chance holding him off. Only person I feel for is Bell, he had a rocket ship all day and misfortune cost them an easy win over the #12 & #2

I literally thought there was a glitch in the broadcast and thought they accidentally showed the same crash twice when Cody Ware went around both times

Drivers complaining about the Explosion and putting stuff in the track. The clip that just comes up in my head is you watch any 60’s or 70’s Daytona race and Every Restart looks like a Sandstorm with how much stuff Is on the track
If petty, Cale and David and could manage Daytona in a Car with 70’s safety with a Thin Layer of Sand around the entire track basically
