This Is How NASCAR Should Be!!!

The NASCAR Cup Series’ first foray to the Iowa Speedway and based on how people are talking about it the overall reaction seems extremely positive. With that I want to sing my praises towards this race and everything that made it fun as a viewer at home. This is how NASCAR should be!!!

NBC’s off season was atrocious

They lost Dale Jr, Leigh Diffey is said to be coming in for later in the season, and the CW is taking over for the Xfinity playoffs and beyond

We all wondered what was happening, and would this affect NBC’s coverage in any way

Short answer in reality: Nope

I know how to fix a short track package. We don’t need a new tire and we don’t need no horsepower. Instead we need to repave every single bottom of the corner in every short track so that will increase tire wear. Genius 100

Well if we increase tire wear too much it will lead to a 2008 brickyard 400 incident and that was a disaster

Reply
@caseysmith544 June 18, 2024 at 3:18 am

Or even less spoiler is not needed. Yes, a repave in corners where is done with a very small 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch gap beween old and new seems to be best for drivers .

Reply
@Atari2600Gamer June 18, 2024 at 4:03 am

1000hp, weak tires, repave, plus paintball guns for the drivers

Reply
@cito1101 June 17, 2024 at 11:31 pm

Despite the many concerns we had about the partial repave at Iowa, I’m glad it turned out to be a really good turn of events.

Only NBC knows how to kick butt and take NASCAR seriously these days, unlike Garbage FOX

As an Indycar fan in addition to NASCAR, I am not looking forward to Fox taking over the Indycar rights next season especially if Fox uses their NASCAR crew particularly when it comes to production. The only good thing about the Fox Indycar deal is that every race is on big Fox which hopefully will allow Indycar to get a bigger audience & actually grow. Then again if the production is bad from Fox, no one is going to want to watch.

Reply
@jbucktheman June 18, 2024 at 2:07 am

NBC does have its issues though, but no one likes to talk about them

@@jbucktheman Yes, I know NBC is not good but what is really sad is that USA has NASCAR when bigger NFL sports seasons shown on NBC and yet no conflict of times because all NBC does is Sunday night with the 2–3 min intro song. Yes, I agree on all Channels NASCAR the or Racing is shown split screen needs to be 50/50 at least because not everyone has a 45 inch+ screen.

Ryan Blaney (Who’s deserving of being sponsored by Star Wars Considering that he is a Diehard Fan. Not to mention that his Father Dave Blaney had an active driving career in the duration of Every GTA Game’s Release.) is The Only Driver to Win at Iowa in All 3 Touring Divisions.

And I gotta say that Iowa is definitely up there with Bristol with The Best Race on a Short Track this season.

They should repave the corners of richmond now. Nascar needs to do whatever to bring iowa back either take away a darlington, kansas, martinsville or phoenix date. Now I would like cup to race at mid ohio, so 80 of Ryan’s dad side of the family can show up.

NBC coverage was excellent. They actually had a legit post race show! And they treated it like a sporting event instead of a comedy skit like FOX. The 2nd half of the race, the only full screen ads were during cautions.
