Let drivers and teams decide on rain tires and change then under green
They will, probably next year.
Agreed. The teams know best. Every racing series on earth lets the teams choose. Theres no need for nascar to run 50 caution laps deciding on the spot if theyre going to make up a new rule right there and force a mandatory tire change
@@MrJohansen teams do, but i understand the abundance of caution and standardization here as this is something that’s not been done before.
here’s hoping the next race this happens with shows even more progress. awesome to watch the sport evolve in real time like this.
