Congrats to Alex Bowman for breaking that streak!
My pick christopher bell ended up 37th
I was 1 of 7% that had Bowman for the win but stopped watching when it started raining and SvG crasht into the wall. Had i seen the finish or heard the endresult then i would’ve gone to the casino.
@@marcusvillarreal Before the rain he looked strong.
@@henkm4862 yeah he did
An electric stock car is EXACTLY what NASCAR fans DO NOT want.
I still mis atmospheric V8’s, V10’s and V12’s in F1. The hybrid V6 leaveblowers don’t do it for me. People that want to watch electric cars race can go watch Formula E.
My guess is that an electric stockcar can’t be safe. Mechanics can’t touch the cars after a crash. F1 drivers have to jump out of their cars instead of stepping out. How can Nascar drivers leave their cars in a hurry when the car is under current.
agreed i’m so tired of everything i love getting ruined. really hope it doesn’t go that way.
I approve this message!!!
How many times does it have to be said? They are NOT trying to replace the top 3 series with electric cars. You won’t see that happen likely for a long time or decades. Cup will go Hybrid, where you will get your 800+ hp back, the cars will still sound great (lookin at you Cadillac LMDh). Chill out.
You don’t speak for me. I’d love to see NASCAR dip it’s toes into this arena whether it becomes a major series of not. Most racing series around the world are going to some sort of electrification of their vehicles because it is the direction the industry is headed. Ignoring that because of short-sidedness seems counterproductive to growing NASCAR as a global brand. Indycar just had their first weekend of their version of a “hybrid” system and by all accounts it was a success.
Someone needs to pitch a Charleston West Virginia street race seriously it would be massive for economical and entertainment standpoints
Since I live in West Virginia I approve of this
Charleston WV street race plz plz plz on the boulevard and capitol street I promise it will work
Well, in that case, make it Roanoke, VA!
PREACH KEVIN!
Bryan France is the EV of the family
Lol
Sounds like he needs to send littleman go fishing with Martin Truex
I have to think Harvick’s (and most Nascar fans) age is a big factor in his bias against EV’s and Nascar is well aware of that. But keep your eye on the Nascar Youth Series and EV’s that will most likely be Nascar’s long term plan to change attitudes. I just watched them at Indy and found them VERY fascinating to be honest. Being able to run multiple classes with one car with just a flip of a dial has some real appeal. I am 64 yrs old and been involved in racing one way or another most of my life but I find this EV craze kind of exciting.
Nope I alot of people who are 18 who would never watch again. Age doesn’t mean much
I don’t know one young person below the age of 21 that’s excited about EVs at all, much less in racing.
@@tylersees6665 …Age means everything when it comes to bias which is why introducing it to kids is a clean slate so to speak.
The electric car has to be better than the gen 7 on short tracks
Cup cars already sound like a bicycle with a card stuck in the spokes. You make them EVs and you can shut the doors.
Btw, very good analogy on NHRA.

Great podcast, guys! I enjoy watching.
We had street course racing in Denver in the Champ Car days – Grand Prix of Denver. Last winner of it was AJ in 2006. Would absolutely LOVE to see NASCAR here!!
Congrats to Keelan! My #20 CBell is going to win Pocono! ❤
❤ that even though Kevin doesn’t like to fish but supports Keelan’s love of it. Great Dad right there.
EV in existing NASCAR series would be a nail in the coffin. Now, a third series for EV might be an addition.
NASCAR has a track south of Denver in the Springs just sitting there wasting away
