Was waiting for this one
Keep your head up, you have a great attitude about the whole situation. Good luck where ever you end up, I will follow.
Rooting for you Corey!
Thanks for always being straightforward even when I’m sure your feeling your most down..it’s not easy being let go when you believe in yourself and your right the people who post all their opinions who know nothing really don’t understand anything except what they read and see on channels who only care about the new of next year..good luck corey and I’ll be rooting for you no matter where you go..karma is a real thing good and bad
Just dont be afraid to take a competitive ride in Xfinity or Trucks over a bad ride in Cup, if your competitive the right people will notice
Or go into the broadcast booth
I see him going to the CW NXS booth.
And trash that ride too, he won’t be missed
This was going to be my post, word for word. I think Corey is 30? Find a decent ride in Xfinity (call Gene Haas right now!), work hard, learn to make fewer mistakes, work on sponsors and see what happens. Look at Josh Berry, what he did and how old he is now. I really never k ew who Corey was, but when he sent a letter to Rick Hendrick asking for a chance at the 48. I started following him after that.
It costs a fortune to be in a competitive ride in anything, even arca.
Great attitude about it all!!!
great podcast very meaningfull
Veteran back marker not mad about being fired for being mediocre. Strong and brave.
I think you’d find that with a better ride, he’d be right up there! Another great driver that will never have the chance to unlock his full potential in a good car unfortunately
@@nhraandnascarfanatic5907 just like Deegan !!!
@@jth91 yes exactly like her.
You my friend are a class act!!!!! I have no doubt you will land on your feet and come up digging!!!! I hope to see you back on the track!!! I love rooting for you!!!!
Good luck, hope you keep the pod cast!
Well said Corey. I will continue to pull for you wherever you life may lead.
Best of life’s blessings to you & family. Godspeed!!
The problem for Corey is Carson Hocevar has had a better season with the same Spire equipment. I hoped Childers was going to get Corey wins, like Letarte did for Dale Jr.
Marginally better. Haven’t seen him at the front. Zane Smith also miles behind.
Except Jr. was already talented.
Luke Lambert is a big part of that perhaps. Now that they won’t try Lajoie with Rodney, we will never know if it really is Lajoies fault or not.
@@Gravy123-kp5ouHocevar has been consistently Top 15 and has got some Top 10s this year. Zane Smith started off horrible this year but that new third team is even starting to run equal or better than the 7. I like Corey Lajoie and would love to see him in victory lane but at the moment he’s not getting the results Spire cars are capable of. Zane is likely out at the end of the year too but he’s a Trackhouse driver anyway
Corey you are an amazing guy! Something will come your way!
You are so amazing and looking forward to see you racing again…from one LaJoy to another.
Great show, great to hear details of your experience and building of Spire, You have a great attitude. All the very Best from Australia
He Never Built S*** At Spire, Spire Just Needed Notes On The Next Gen Car, And Once They Gathered Enough Info And They Saw That The Other Teams Were Progressing And They Weren’t, It Was Time For A Different Driver
Australian here because of SVG. I’ve become a fan and you’ve taken this like a man. It’s pretty clear many on the grid many would not. You’ll find your feet.
