@@bromania1658 running well isn’t what I’m talking about. There are tons of guys who run well, and don’t win races. Dillon is top 15 a lot of the time, but only wins when he wrecks the leader.
The last time Joey actually wrecked someone for real intentionally was Matt Kenseth in 2015 and that was after being blocked repeatedly for several laps
He’s become a 2x champion since then
Austin doesn’t have to worry about retaliation because he’s always behind them anyway

Don’t blame the game! What you did is who you are! Wrecking two people in two separate incidents in one turn is absolutely unacceptable. You chose to do that as a man! To be honest you shouldn’t even be in a race car and the only reason your are, is because of your grandfather. You’re also a coward, you hid behind your baby so you didn’t have to face your consequences. Hope nascar suspends you and then does not give you a waiver for the playoffs!

@@BilobateDripI agree with that 100%. But Logano and Denny are the two biggest whiners when someone does to them what they regularly do to others. They’re both really good at playing the victim unless it was them that made the move for the win. I swear those two have the shortest memories when it comes to their own actions.

Both of them are the dirtiest drivers in the game. I got no tears for them then at all.
Don’t blame dillion one bit. Nascar created this with their playoff format. Hamlin wrecked larson 3 times last year alone fighting for wins. So sick of the hypocracy

Dude you need to watch races in 80’s and 90’s Earnhardt, Waltrip, Wallace, bodine. They didn’t have playoff system and they wrecked each other all the time .

Austin Dillon is exactly right. Joey has done exactly the same thing in the past, he has no right to complain.
But regardless, racing like that, where you can simply use the guy in front of you as the wall and take him out instead of making it through the last corner, sucks. And NASCAR allowing it is making NASCAR hard to watch at times.
But logano had done it only for retaliation other than 2015 which he changed from then

So now he gets to go to the playoffs and knock out somebody who earned their spot with integrity and actual driving skill

@annebissou6794 Yes, but since he sucks on restarts he should have lost. I have no issue with a bump and run, that takes actual talent, but he admittedly just plain wrecked him. No talent.
Why would a 30th place driver even need a playoff spot.. To be the first one out? That ruins it for another driver who might actually have a chance to make it to the next round.. Nascars playoff system is absolutely terrible
NASCAR has a system that encourages this. And the goal is to win the race and make the playoffs. Austin did just that. Can’t fault him
