Austin Hill could have a different look on the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet when NASCAR heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
According to trusted account Stock Car Rumors & Nostalgia, Hill is reportedly set to run a Zone/Cumberland Farms “Sweet Coffee” paint scheme at “The Magic Mile.” There has been no official reveal yet, so for now, it remains a reported scheme rather than a confirmed one.
Still, the design has already caught the attention of NASCAR fans.

One reaction summed up the split perfectly: “That’s horrific but I love it at the same time.” Another fan liked the direction of the recent Zone designs, saying they were “Loving the new colors for the Zone schemes lately.” Someone else was far less convinced, joking, “That looks like something I made this morning.”
The Cumberland Farms connection also had fans wondering if New Hampshire was always the plan. One wrote, “I bet it’s this weekend. Cumbys is a big chain up here.” Another was confirming the link, commenting, “A Cumbys scheme.”
Austin Hill Rumor Amid RCR Uncertain Future

There is another reason this rumor is worth watching. Jayski’s 2026 NASCAR Cup Series paint-scheme tracker lists a No. 33 Zone Sweet Coffee scheme for August 19, with Hill listed as RCR’s driver. That does not replace an official announcement, but it gives the report some additional credibility.
Hill is also entering New Hampshire with plenty of doubts around his future. RCR has him in the No. 33 for the remainder of the 2026 Cup season, but his 2027 plans are less clear.
Recent reporting says Hill and RCR have reached an impasse in contract talks for next season. Hill is still viewed as a leading option to remain in the seat, but a deal has not been reached.
That has put Josh Berry on the radar as a possible alternative for the No. 33 if Hill and RCR cannot work things out. Nothing has been decided, but the situation adds another layer to an already interesting weekend for Hill.
For now, though, the paint scheme is the immediate talking point. Fans have already made their feelings known, Jayski has a matching entry on its tracker. The question now is whether the rumored No. 33 look actually appears at “The Magic Mile.”
