I like Kyle Bush. When he wins his 7th championship let’s talk

No one ever will win 7 championships again. Especially with the current format. 6 of 7 championships Johnson had won were the old chase format. There’s only 2 multiple championship drivers of this current format.

I think Kyle will have 1-2 more championships. Get to 80 – 90 wins in cup and finally get the elusive Daytona 500. Kyle said he has 8 -10 years left in his career. 2 – 5 wins a year average

LOL, no one is winning 7 championships again in an era like today that’s more competitive than ever. Kyle’s Xfinity and Truck wins are also about as equivalent as Petty’s wins in the 50s-70s.

3 is the new 7. 7 Champ 4 appearances is impressive.

i am not even a fan of Kyle but i can admit he has been one of the most electrifying drivers in nascar for the modern era … but i still think he has a ways to go to be “the GOAT” .. he needs to grab a couple more championships, really not much left for him to do.. just a little bit- i think he will do it barring any injuries. definitely in the conversation

Let’s talk about “greatest of all time” if he gets to 90+ wins.

75-80? i think passing Dale and Waltrip is a given and they’re considered the greatest by their respective camps

I think Kyle would run a season or two of trucks in the end to get a championship in every series.

As a chevy guy I am glad to see the talent of Kyle Busch on the bowtie side of the weekly bowtie v. Oval battle.

Kyle is one of the best drivers in Nascar, and this comes from someone who can’t stand him. He is a top 10 ever driver. Maybe a top 5 driver of all time. But no way the GOAT.

He can drive the wheels off of it, not sure about being the best, but he is up there!

Definitely one of the best, him and Jimmy are pretty close, I think he’ll end up with at least a few more championships

I think he certainly may reach GOAT level at some point. Is he there yet, no, but if he continues this trajectory, he will be in the next few years.

There are good drivers in all eras but it’d be really interesting to see some of the current crop in a 4000 lb car, with a big block motor on 8 inch tires and no power steering and higher roll centers due to a greater ride height requirement like they ran back in the 60s and the only in race adjustments were wedge and tire pressure. If they missed the setup, the driver just had to find a way to make it work. Also, in those days, taking care of the car was another skill today’s drivers don’t have to worry about. With all the bulletproof parts and pieces they have today, pretty much the only way the don’t finish a race is if they wreck.

I feel like Kyle Busch will run a full Truck season eventually just to be the first driver to win all 3 titles

A large portion of fans hated Dale Earnhardt too until later in his career.

Kyle Bush swept Bristol in all 3 series in one weekend. twice! a record that will never be broken.

Its absolutely ridiculous that he’s achieved that stat. To get those 3 wins everything has to be perfect. Its hard enough to get 1 win in any series, but to get all 3 you need perfection, you need precision, speed, luck, the cautions to go your way, no penalties on pitstops, keeping up with the changes to the track, and the car/truck handling, its sooo hard, but for him to do that twice, tells you how good he really is. My fav driver for sure.

I don’t know if we can ever say who the greatest is thanks to the way things have changed over the years, but I think instead he is right up there with the Big 3 of Gordon, Earnhardt and Petty. Might have to start calling them the big 4.

As soon as I heard that it was Austin Dillon’s idea to bring Kyle Busch to Richard Childress Racing oh, I said that is a team owner type of move. Austin is looking Beyond his driving career already.

In short answer: Yes, he’s the GOAT. Can’t fight me. Don’t even try.
