In 2011 Dale Jr. started to begin a late career resurgence. After finishing 25th in points in 2009 and 21st in 2010 he was on the verge of competing for a title in 2011. All he had to do was survive 400 laps at Richmond. This is how Dale Jr. saved his 2011 season.

I remember I was nervous that whole night. When he got involved in that big wreck I was like “welp…Jr bout to miss the chase again” but fortunately he just made it in.
Sometimes you gotta wreck your way in!
Also, you just gotta love those side burns!
