Now people see why JG likes to protect his drivers. I get gotta live your life, but drivers need to ask themselves if the high risk activities are worth the reword. I’m a kyle busch fan and know from 2015 experience

9/10 times the driver is going to say yes to that question. There is more to life than your racing career and if you’ve already made the money to retire then yeah. They’ll risk the injury because ultimately the odds are still low in comparison to how many people do snowboard and don’t get hurt.

It was heartbreaking to hear the news of Dale Jr not in the 88 in 2012 and 2016. This feels no different. I want Chase Elliott to fully heal and recover first and foremost. I just hope he doesn’t lose some of his driving skill with this injury moving forward.

Chase will be fine. He is physically and mentally strong. He will have the best care and therapy money can buy. He also has very supportive family, friends and fans.
That being said, I am not too excited about any races right now. Doing stuff in the off season? Do you realize what a short amount of time that is? Young men have to live their lives.
