In 2004 Dale Earnhardt Jr looked well on his way to his first championship in the inaugural Chase for the Nextel Cup. But after dropping a swear on live TV NASCAR fined him 25 points and in turn took him out of the points lead, a lead he would not regain until 2012. All of this due to a wardrobe malfunction in the Super Bowl. Did this wardrobe malfunction cost Dale Jr. a championship?

OK honestly I don’t believe it because just because
It just doesn’t make any sense they probably been doing that
It was meant to happen, all things are
NASCAR manipulate’s race, and championship’s
Most bullshit penalty in NASCAR history. Sure, fine him, that makes sense. But to take away points towards the championship because he said a big scawy swear word on TV? Come on. Save the points penalties for cheating and deliberate wrecks.
