What early season storylines are you watching from Richmond?
Can Trackhouse maintain the success they found in 2022? Right now, both teams look really consistent. But it’ll be interesting to see if they can get more wins this year.
Ross Chastian getting people mad
The fact @TheIceberg picked overrated Bubbles to make the playoffs but not Byron (who has 2 wins already)
Brad Keselowski`s comeback, Ty Gibbs performance as a rookie in the Cup Series, Ross Chastain and will Denny Hamlin win a championship?
This season will be great I feel
Yeah
@Big Hand Definitely.
I’m so glad to finally hear someone else say that phoenix was more or less ruined. I have missed the old layout since the first race they had after the change.
Hell, it’s been years since the reconfiguration, and even with the helpful signs on the walls, my brain STILL mixes up the turns just about every race.
I have been saying this forever. Hate the new Phoenix. It’s awful racing.
Phoenix ain’t been great since they were doing night races their tbh
7:57 as a joey fan, i wouldn’t say he’s careful wit his driving. i would love to see him and chastain battling for the lead on another race, similar to vegas
1. Every historical event is Ross Chastains fault
Is this a meme?
@Big Hand you’ve just witnessed the birth of one.
@Jay Seems like Ross Chastain is getting attention outside NASCAR aside from that move he did at Martinsville.
Chastain coordinated the Boston Tea Party fr
@Aditya Sagraha ???
As a Truex fan James Small needs to go. He needs a fresh voice atop the pit box.
Biggest surprise- trackhouse and chastain have gotten better.
Chastain is responsible for every nascar crash in the past 75 years
I didn’t know Ross Chastain was a time traveler
I firmly believe that knowing that he has a long term ride and sponsorship for the first time since coming to HMS has made Bowman better. He doesn’t have that pressure on him like has in the past.
Hendrick has deep pockets…
Truex needs a new crew chief cause he’s getting screwed out of many races at this point
Just Hamlin being Hamlin
Chastain pulling insane moves on the big guys would be amazing
I feel like this season in general is gonna be kinda mid. There will be some good races and a couple bad ones, but most of them will be decent. Kind of like 2019 where it wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad.
Cota-pre GWC, the racing was so good that my Dad who doesn’t like road courses said “this is good racing “
As a Hamlin hater I would die of laughter if he was in the championship 4 at Phoenix and he’s coming around on the last lap to win and Yeley who’s 50 laps down dumps him.
Yes
I think BK right now is something to watch with how he’s performing so far compared to most of last year
I’m sad for Byron getting wrecked, happy Berry got a great performance and I’m happy Hamlin got exposed for his true nature
Given what we’ve seen this season I think it’s Obvious that Hendrik and to a less extent Joe Gibbs are putting out cars that are just faster. That being considered I would ask “how incredible does Chastain continue to be with this small team?” After his consistency last year people are looking past it but he seems to be competitive every race where the people in similar equipment aren’t showing even near the consistency.
In my opinion Josh Berry has done pretty well all things considered. In 4 starts he’s finished all of them, has a top 5, 2 top 10s, and an average finish of 14th
Great vid as usual, would recommend upgrading the mic a little if you can (maybe a condenser?). Also you don’t have to do the whole video in one take bro, it just puts unrealistic pressure on yourself and makes screwups harder to correct because you are running the whole thing at once.
Still though, very happy with the quality of your content, keep it up man!
RFK is onto something, Corey lajoie is coming in hot to start the year, and front row motorsports is noticeably improving. Those are storylines I think are under the radar.
A storyline throughout the season will be which Hendrick driver gets the organization’s 300th win, and which track will that be done? They’re 6 away from that milestone.
