Whether being favored by the fanbase or being loathed by them, Kyle Busch has been one of the most talked about NASCAR drivers of the last 20 years. In the years before 2023 though much of this talk was of his struggling performance and his deteriorating relationship with car owner Joe Gibbs and also most of Joe Gibbs Racing. With this it ended in 2022 when Busch ended up going over to Richard Childress Racing to drive his now open #8 car that was left vacant by the newest 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick. So today we look at the Kyle Busch revenge tour… so far.

Absolutely. I don’t think RCR is a championship team even with Kyle Busch’s current tear, which makes Kyle seem more impressive.

Oh yeah, I’m sure that towards the end, he got the shaft at JGR and just couldn’t perform well in the subpar equipment. Now that he’s back to having the top equipment on the team, he’s back to his normal, winning, self!

I think part of it is that it’s easy to lump him in with the era of guys like Truex, Hamlin, and Edwards, but he’s really a lot younger than all of them. The difference is that those guys started full time Cup in their mid to late 20’s while he started full time at 19
He’s overrated end of story.
And it’s important to note that Kyle’s doing this with RCR equipment and he’s still gotten the same number of wins so far as all four JGR drivers combined. Generational talent.
Equipment isn’t really as much of an issue as people believe it is in the Cup Series, and if I have to be honest, RCR has been top tier equipment for a few years now.

Tell AD it’s top tier equipment I don’t think he has received the memo yet. IMO kyle has made this car look much better than anyone at rcr has in years even reddick last year. Reddick made most of his big noise on road courses. KB has been fast at every track type except short tracks. And that’s just an equipment problem which I believe they will get solved.
@KyleReddick qualified in the top ten 23 times last year, second only to Larson. It was the first time an RCR car had 20 or more top ten starts since 1990. They’re definitely back to being a ‘have’ team, Dillon just sucks.
Hes still tied with Hamlin and Surpassed by Truex in the points. Even the Winston cup points put Truex ahead. He has no consistency in the car

With 2 cup championships, an Xfinity championship, 63 cup wins, 100+ Xfinity wins, 60+ Truck win, there is no way that he isn’t a guaranteed hall of famer.

Just what both these parties (Busch & Childress) needed. It’s kinda refreshing to hear cheers for KB.
Don’t think Busch ever lost it. JGR was beyond ready to move on wether KFB still wanted to win or not. This is what happens when a team is all in with their driver and vice versa.
This has been what I have been predicting from day one! Y’all can go back! I was very vocal about it on this channel, Bologna Burger, and many others! I predicted 8 wins this year, across ALL 3 series, maybe MORE! A shift from Kyle Busch to be “the villain to the FAVORITE!” y’all thought I was NUTS!…LOL! told ya so! You could just see it! In his demeanor! He would become the most popular driver in the sport! It’s not about Childress, it’s seeing Kyle finally be HAPPY! CONTENT, HUMBLED, whatever you want to call it!
I figured he’d have 1 or 2 by now.. but 3 is rly impressive! I think of all the guys who have been around for over 10 yrs.. He’s got the best shot at a champ 4 appearance!
Sure the only concern is if the team blows it in the playoffs. As long as everyone at RCR prevents that then he’s has the best chance of the non Hendrick Penske or Gibbs drivers to be in the championship 4.
Not revenge just a driver happy to be with an owner and team who appreciate what he brings to the table and work to give him what he needs to win. It’s got to be a relief to not have 3 other good drivers in the same garage shareing and trading assets depending on a football coachs decisions. Just wait till he and RCR get really tuned in and go on a streak. RC is so happy he can hardly contain his self, At least 6 wins this year just becase he can.
I hope Kyle wins 3,4,or 5 more this year. I am beyond happy for Richard and all the hard working guys behind the scenes. Both Kyle’s are the best drivers in the series. He is the right man for the job at RCR.

Im a huge nascar fan and Kyle Bush is my fav driver and since I started watching nascar full time in 2020 he has and this has been his best season I think he gets around 6 wins and He has a good shot at winning the championship
Kyle has this team the closest to championship contention that they have been since Harvick was there.
I can’t say anything bad about Kyle. He’s my moms favorite driver and we got to meet him and his family at wayne County Speedway the night before gateway he took time before brexton went out for a heat race and took pictures with us and was 100% respectful about it and literally made my mom’s biggest bucket list moment happen it was a surreal moment for myself because of that and when we wished him luck and congratulations on getting the pole at gateway I told her he was going to win bc of us, I felt in my soul he would win that race and the fact he did made it so much better a badass dude and had and now more than ever will have my respect for what he did. Truly one of the goats of nascar
With all of the wins so far, he should STILL be considered the face of NASCAR….. people still tend to take for granted how much talent he still has….
Can you continue the “what if nascar had the playoffs” series? That’s my favorite series from your channel and I’d love to see the playoffs in the 90s seasons or even further back.
