Been here since the purple camo gallardo days and gotta say its been crazy seeing your dreams of the house and full supercar garage come alive as it unfolds.
I so hope you found a spec like your old TT to put on the wall. The amount of progression and growth is bar to none. You are truly an inspiration, James.
Congrats on the Scud! They’re such an incredible car, and I was planning on my first Ferrari to be one, but with the recent price jump I couldn’t justify it. So I got a gorgeous 458 instead and absolutely love it. Good luck on your hunt for a Challenge Stradale!
Hard to see a milestone car of this channel going away. The scud is amazing but we need to move on somehow, and considering is the nearest thing to the challenge, is a good choice. Congrats James, always on your side. ❤
I’d much rather have a Scud than a Challenge. Though, as good as it looks, I can’t imagine a better looking Scud-spec than what Ed Bolian used to have – the dark grey with red interior and tricolore centre stripe
As much of a manual transmission lover as I am, this is going to be one of the few times in my life I will say keep the automatic. I’m not sure what it is exactly about this car, but I feel like the transmission that’s currently in it is the perfect transmission for the car. Yeah the manual would be very fun, but that auto is just perfect
Also you can’t vlog while driving a manual and getting cool sounding downshifts requires an amount of practice James just hasn’t gotten yet. (I’m not there myself, but I know you have to drive a lot of manual cars to get good at it)
Don’t manual swap a Scud, the transmission is what makes the Scud stand out and it’s still one of the fastest (non racing) single clutch gearboxes out there. btw. I never get why people put aftermarket exhausts/mufflers on the F430, with the valves open it’s basically a straight pipe completely by-passing the muffler. Enjoy the car, still own my F430 and the looks + sound never fail to impress!
I think that in the near future the single clutch will be sought after. It is a lot of fun at half the price and those that will get priced out of the manual market will get the next best thing.
This is probably the best decision you’ve made on the challenge, it’s definitely a great car but a scud in return is definitely a great choice, and it gives the challenge the chance to live to its potential again on the track so definitely a great decision. Seeing the challenge stradale and the scud side by side would be so cool as well
I’m glad you’re exploring more of other brands other than lamborghini and I really think you should get yourself in a mclaren, a porsche, or anything your heart desires to bring something fresh for the channel

Great to see James so happy in this video. Congrats, Stradman.
Congratulations stradman I love when you buy a new car. It always makes my day especially on brand new delivery day.

I was thinking the exact thing. I think he found either exact spec or his old TT would be so sick!
that would make so much sense for the hint he gave too. Twin turbo = TT
@Blurry That and those were his first two cars that started the channel
@Daniel HaluskaHe also needs to hunt down a similar or the same elise he owned 8 years ago. Not for the wall ofc.
When Stradman posts it always makes my day ❤️ keep up the work Stradman!!!!

facts the automatic is actually soooo nice on this car
Facts!!
The F1 gearbox had already showing it’s age, but that’s why i think it’s charming and suitable for the Scuderia

*Assuming the swap doesn’t include automatic rev matching

when you straight pipe it, the car sounds more f1 like
so true
And don’t paint it man black is gorgeous
@Twotwo Low black isn’t dangerous…. Make you’re comment right bruh
Love the new car, James! I don’t think you should do a manual swap; it shifts so cleanly with those paddles.

Especially both of them on the track
driving through the mountains with supercars with friends is the dream and stradman is living it loving the content.
Congrats Strad the Scud suits you buddy no matter if it’s a salvage title it’s still a piece of gold enjoy all the happy miles in your car

Strad’s excitement alone for a car can make you fall in love with it too. Can’t wait to see the build on this thing!
One of the better stradman videos recently for sure. Keep it up strad!
