NASCAR Cup Series qualifying today at Bristol Motor Speedway was impacted by weather, with rain and lightning once again forcing the cancelation of qualifying and for the metric score to be used to determine the starting lineup.
Because the metric score heavily weighs in the results from last week’s race, The Chase drivers Ryan Blaney (29th), Daniel Suarez (28th), Chase Elliott (27th), Chase Briscoe (26th) and Chris Buescher (23rd) will start outside the top 20 in the NASCAR race tomorrow night.
