She barely did anything in the K&N, she did nothing in ARCA and trucks. She should be ready to quit racing.
We especially don’t want this to turn into a Danica Patrick situation
I’ve said many, many times, if she focused her days off on racing and not making content for YouTube, she can make the most of her break. Ppl who say she can’t catch a break, this kind of mistake is lack of focus, not necessarily a talent issue. Racing and making the most of her ride is #1. And you can not have a #2 until you’ve started being successful. FOCUS!!!

Unfortunately you are spot on.
A smart NASCAR team owner could do really well by giving Abbie Eaton a call and lure her to the US.
The truth is she’s more focused on the marketing. I still don’t think she’d be a great driver, but if she focused on that more than the videos, she’d at least be better. She said in another video that growing up she like selling shirts for her dad.
I want her to be that driver who succeed nascar and make history but right now im nervous about her future in this sport i know she has done more during the weeks and weekends where their is no racing for trucks than what Danica has done. I think Hailie needs to do dirt racing or super late model racing aka something like the cars tour or similar to it or run some races in her off road truck it seemed to help her in the K&N Westor something to at least help her and yes i know she will run SRX full-time this year and hopefully it will help but even when that series is hasn’t started yet or finished for the year she needs to get seat time in something look at Larson its helping him to be better and stronger in every cup race so she needs to do something like that.

@Shane VanOrderhopefully xfinity instead because her first xfinity start she got 13th at las vegas. But she’s not ready yet for cup I wish she can figure out what’s holding her back is it because of not having enough seat time which probably is because nascar no longer allows track testing except if it’s after a injury. Anyway or is it because of social media which could be because how much time she spends on it and I understand it’s for sponsors and money but I think lay off and hopefully it will help somewhat
@Shane VanOrder also I just looked at who won which is Carson and he’s a good example during the weeks and weekends where their is no racing for trucks he runs dirt and it seems like it’s helping him Kyle larson is also the best example anyway I thought I should mention that hopefully she look at what’s helping Carson to win races and what’s making larson one of the best racer ever
K&N she was in the best car and won 3 races 2 by pretty much running over the leader wasn’t like she ever dominated nothing against her but K&N arca seems to match her talent..

@Johnathan JohnsonI’ve noticed that during one particular race Deegan’s car seemed much slower than her teammates. It didn’t seem like it was just really old tires. Either way, she needs to go back to ARCA

I too am losing interest. She is not aggressive enough. Trucks seem to be a more aggressive style of racing than the other series in NASCAR. Maybe she would do better in Xfinity. I don’t know.
I wonder if its harder for her to turn the wheel after her performance mods

I really hoped Deegan would be the female driver to break through in NASCAR but she has yet to do anything of note other than a solid first Xfinity race. Even if the trucks don’t fit her racing style you would expect to see some improvements which there just has not been. I think her time is running out.
Racing is hard, if you have little eye to hand control.
Toni Breidenger is looking like more and more of the top female talent after each truck start.
If people think this is going to be any different from Danica (i.e. shifting to marketing her body and looks other than proving her place among drivers with talent) they are mistaken.
I mean this for fair competition: why in the heck has NASCAR not started a Powder Puff league. I would completely watch it. Saturday night, I’m there. WNBA stars don’t compete in the NBA for obvious reasons. Organize a women’s series. It will get great ratings.
Well examine this little tidbit — WNBA attendance is horrible. And the only way people would want to watch powderpuff racing is if the girls are all hot and are introduced before the race wearing bikinis — BTW, this is why women’s beach volleyball is so popular.
Over in Europe they had a “W Series” that was supposed to assist in the entry of females into F-1. It was founded in 2019, and didn’t even complete the 2022 season. Even then it was supposed to come back in 2023, but instead went into administration (you Americans call that bankruptcy).
Nobody really cared — showing well in a powderpuff series is in no way indicative of how any of them would do in an open-series (with men racing, too). Further, of all the competitors, only a couple were actually attractive. No eye candy, no reason to watch …
@sking2173 from a corporation standpoint (which is sadly what racing series have become) I understand. I however would watch it.
Put her in Cup, we need the entertainment
There are several Women/girls in the lower classes, like sprint cars that are progressing way faster than Deegan. Some in different driver development programs, that are actually trying to be good race drivers, not social media stars.
