Who do you think gets the 16th and final sport in the 2023 NASCAR Cup Playoffs?

Jason Hill Jr August 21, 2023 at 11:39 pm

Realistically Bubba because all he has to do is have a good day and not wreck out

Reply
pencil82 August 21, 2023 at 11:40 pm

Maybe Ty Gibbs if he doesn’t wreak

Chase is screwed

Remember tho, Bubba was half a lap and a bad block from winning at Talladega, at Daytona he got a bad push from Truex and broke a Towlink, he was stuck in the back at Atlanta all day (I was at that one)

IShowMeat August 22, 2023 at 1:10 am

If legit he got a good push at Daytona, dubskee.

Kawaii five-o August 22, 2023 at 4:35 am

Travis at Daytona almost pushed him into contention to until cars started spinning too.

This Daytona Race Could Be ABSOLUTELY Crazy if no weather or clown foolery happens

Crazy because there apparently won’t be rain for the Daytona weekend on Saturday with how the weather has been.

AJ Allmendinger said his strategy for Daytona this week is “Win, or crash.”

Reply
cadillacjohn1994 August 21, 2023 at 11:56 pm

That pretty much sums up racing at Daytona and Talladega in general.

“Win, or crash”

Reply
Big Smoke August 22, 2023 at 1:16 am

There is also “Win and Crash”

Kinda like Cindric, he always Qualifies well at these tracks and Penske has always shown speed here

Reply
Big Hand August 22, 2023 at 12:50 am

I wouldn’t be against Austin Cindric winning another one.

Reply
Taylor Bertrim August 21, 2023 at 11:59 pm

Bubba could finish outside 20 with Ty getting a top 5. I dont know it could get tight, depends on who’s in “the big one” if there is one.
It’s Daytona

Devin Hull August 22, 2023 at 2:31 am

Man, it would be hilarious if all the bubble guys got caught in one wreck

Reply
EC 35 August 22, 2023 at 12:07 am

Sleeping on Ryan Preece imo. Always fast at Daytona. If he can avoid the big ones I think he’ll have a real shot at it

Are we not going to talk about Kevin Harvick making into the playoffs with this system on points? That is phenomenal!

Reply
Nomad Man August 22, 2023 at 12:26 am

Brad too.

Reply
Big Hand August 22, 2023 at 12:49 am

@Nomad Man I feel like Brad Keselowski is kinda underrated.

Reply
Barry_Matthews August 22, 2023 at 2:12 am

No because they are guaranteed in and this video is about the drivers who can win or point in

Reply
OB1tuber August 22, 2023 at 12:16 am

As someone has already said here “it’s Daytona” but I’m looking at Keselowski to win, but Wallace has been quietly a superspeedway ace, if Wallace’s team can get the pit stops down he can tear through the field and potentially win, as for Keselowski, do I need to explain what he can do, plus his team (RFK) has been on fire with Buescher, on top of that Keselowski has won superspeedway races with multiple different packages

Reply
Big Hand August 22, 2023 at 12:59 am

Would be nice for Brad Keselowski to win for a change. Been a while since he last won a race.

Reply
NoRandom August 22, 2023 at 2:05 am

Make it poetic with the 6 winning at the same track that the number won 12 years ago. At the same race too (summer daytona race).

Reply
Wheelman714c August 22, 2023 at 1:18 am

Joey Logano wins, and Wallace stays out of trouble. The extra sting of Bubba in over Chase will be awesome to watch on Twitter. As for the 22 team, they need some momentum, and like it or not, they cam throw the switch as proven before. Still gonna root for KFB though.

Reply
Corner-Entry August 22, 2023 at 1:24 am

Bubba Wallace is still one of the best at plate racing in gen 7 every race he runs 5-1st on the last lap and if not he either crashes or he crashes before the white

Reply
Pendre MacHerald August 22, 2023 at 1:39 am

Not that it matters, but Corey Lajoie has no DNFs this season, and he is the only driver who has run every race who has 0 dnfs.

Reply
Run Rafa Run #THEBESTINTHEWORLD August 22, 2023 at 3:45 am

He’s still overhyped by fans because he’s running lesser equipment.

Reply
EC 35 August 22, 2023 at 12:34 pm

Ironic that the week he was in the 9 his normal 7 car DNFd

Reply
shmeeve August 22, 2023 at 1:58 am

Erik jones I would say deserves the spot more than anyone below the cut line. He’s in a complete garbage car yet is more often than not getting the car into the top 15. Pure skill in my opinion.

Reply
Austin Artinger August 22, 2023 at 7:29 am

Erik Jones is one of my favorite drivers, but it’d be an absolute travesty to see Legacy waste a playoff spot this year. It’s an abandoned season

Reply
shmeeve August 22, 2023 at 7:36 am

@Austin Artinger last 2-3 spots are usually a waste anyways. Better him than Dillon or an SHR car

Reply
Barry_Matthews August 22, 2023 at 2:16 am

Im hoping for a massive upset and gilliland gets the win

Reply
Grandpa Shark August 22, 2023 at 2:29 am

There are 32 full time drivers. 15 are locked in. So 17 guys fighting for 1 spot. It will be interesting.

GamingJake 1318 August 22, 2023 at 4:55 am

The summary of every Aric Almirola plate race he finishes:
Lead laps
Get shuffled back to 21st late
Recover to 14th

That’s basically been the name of the game the last few years and it’s been painful to say the least

Reply
Vitor Apollinario August 22, 2023 at 9:21 am

The chance of huge crashes are enormous. The pressure to win has never been higher I feel. Imagine what would be for Kauling get a driver into the playoffs, or Spire, Austin Dillon is basically living for this surprising moment’s, Elliott, Bowman and Suarez are gonna go like crazy for the win. Hope for a good race, but i think is gonna chaotic…
