If it’s true that Gragson is coming to SHR, this sounds like a right call! With Noah and Berry teammates in xfinity, those two can click together and help each other out!

The right call if you want to get worse than you already are

As I’ve seen pointed out though, Ford doesn’t sign controversial drives. Plus, he doesn’t really bring any main sponsorship to a team that’s posing Busch Beer and most likely Smithfield.

It’s like a match made in heaven.

I think Matt can do alot to help with Erik and John Hunter and i could see Legacy Motor Club winning races in 2024, 2025 and beyond.

Me to. Mark martin mentored Matt and I believe Matt is gonna be like a younger mark martin. Someone who any team should want

Great move for Legacy, and love seeing Kenseth back in the sport. It just seems odd when you’d think Johnson would fill that role.

I think JJ does more of the corporate deals side of the business. Not to mention he needs to be with his family as much as they need currently.

As another long time Kenseth fan, it’s nice to see him back in the sport.

I was pretty lucky to have Noah Gragson racing at my local home track. Never expected him to race north of the border.

Legacy is seeing what 2311 is doing with Kurt Busch, and the value that a veteran presence can provide to young drivers in the cup series

I think Custer should be the driver of the 10. I know he had a rough few seasons, but I think Preece entering the ride and turning out similar results, as well as the overall back peddle of the organization is proof that Custer was not the issue here. Ultimately with these Next Gen cars, SHR is now taking valuable seat time from Custer. I don’t believe the work that Tony and Gene need to do is on the driver side, I honestly think they have a pretty strong lineup (either with Almirola or Custer), it all comes down to figuring out why they can’t get what they need out of these cars. Whether that is a discussion to have with Ford, a new OEM to replace Ford, or something else entirely, they need ton get to work this offseason. If RFK can figure it out, a recent 2 time champion winning team should be able to as well.

Agree. Custer deserves more, he is already having a great Xfinity season this year.

Custer already had his chance in Cup back when SHR was good, and barely performed. He seems better suited for Xfinity

He was already kinda partial to them since Erik Jones was the guy who replaced Kenseth. Jones is even one of the few guys he’s got merch for (that he’s worn on camera) that isn’t a diecast. But yeah, this definitely cements it lol

This is a big move for Legacy Motor club, Jimmie Johnson,Murray Gallagher and everyone who’s involved with legacy motor club. Matt Kenseth being a former Toyota driver will bring a lot knowledge and guidance to a team that’s trying to get their feet off the ground.

Gragson will massively improve his career average finish to… 35th place if he goes SHR, great pick Tony!

With Hocevar and LaJoie as teammates it’s a nice duo because LaJoie at least knows what he’s talking about when mentoring a driver like Hocevar and on the other hand compared to Ty Dillon I see Hocevar doing a lot more and bringing in a lot more sponsors and money for the team

Another possibility is that Noah is going to go to SHR, but maybe he ends up in the #00 car in Xfinity and Custer goes back to Cup
