I can tolerate him winning in a Chevrolet…still not a fan

Ok I’m glad you finally wised up a little bit. Welcome aboard.

I was there in 05 when Kyle won his first race at this track its kind of cool that he wins the last race before they demolish it

@TC Johnson Yeah I saw they’re like 89 acres left. Like that’s not going to work out. Considering the the actual track, the bleachers, what about parking?

Reply
Tylnorton February 27, 2023 at 2:55 am

@TC Johnson I know lol. This whole thing is just asinine.

Juan Jose Ballesteros Porras February 27, 2023 at 2:57 am

@Tylnorton right thank you

@TC Johnson Yeah that’s completely stupid, instead of using land that’s already bought to make money, it’s going to take money instead. They could’ve used the land, that the old configuration was on, for parking, camping, at-track entertainment. Or hell, simply raise the banking of the track that’s already there, to create a proper superspeedway.

I have been a long time kyle busch hater. But for whatever reason I knew I would root for him this year. Like with all the greats you have to eventually respect what they’ve accomplished.

Maybe bc he has part ownership at RCR now

Reply
Joe Miranda February 27, 2023 at 5:08 am

@FFLL2112 He does not have any ownership at RCR.

Reply
Jared Champagne February 27, 2023 at 5:20 am

@FFLL2112 no he doesn’t.

FFLL2112 February 27, 2023 at 5:50 am

Its on the 8 car only. it leaked and is under a hush agreement

Reply
JDM forever February 27, 2023 at 7:35 am

@crystaljon of course it’s because he’s driving a Chevy and with RCR there’s no other reason, people saying he’s mellowed.. We’ll see.. And if he does we know when he was driving for Gibbs that whole bad boy was just an act

Reply
SupermanHopkins February 27, 2023 at 12:40 am

“… race this Cam — uh, Camaro.”

Completely understandable, KB. You worked at Gibbs & Toyota all those years. Welcome back to the top!

I thought I was the only one who caught that hahaha

Reply
Owen Oseroff February 27, 2023 at 2:14 am

I caught that, it makes sense cause he was literally in a Toyota for the majority of his career lmao

Reply
ICEYOU February 27, 2023 at 3:46 am

Glad I wasn’t the only one who caught that lol

Reply
LionManatic February 27, 2023 at 6:19 am

I noticed that too! haha! The first three letters being the same, doesn’t help him at all! I hope Chevy understands if he accidentally says the wrong one once, I can see it happening at least once. x^D

Remember when Richard Childress gave Kyle a black eye?

I never would have imaged Kyle would be racing for him years later and win in a Childress car.

I like the fit for Kyle at RCR and am rooting for the team to do well.

I’ve got to say his attitude is completely different, not fake and actually showing gratitude. Good stuff

Reply
FFLL2112 February 27, 2023 at 4:31 am

Bc he’s got part ownership

Reply
Jody Sales February 27, 2023 at 5:07 am

He could just be at that time in his career where he don’t want to be the guy to get boo’d any more. The last two races have been the only two I’ve ever rooted for him. I’m from Georgia and of course I’m a Chase Elliott fan I’m in the same area as him but was still glad Kyle got the win.

Reply
Sue Staley February 27, 2023 at 12:55 am

I knew he could do it! And with a team that supports him! Well done RCR!

Reply
Jonathon Poloski February 27, 2023 at 1:06 am

I think he handled this winnthe best he’s ever handled a win. Started booing him, ended up cheering him after.

Reply
Ethan benfield February 27, 2023 at 1:15 am

Im no Busch fan but it will be nice to see RCR be a legit championship contender again.

Love hearing the cheers for a change. Good things coming for Kyle and RCR this year.

So glad to see the KB/RCR team in victory lane so quickly! They will be a major factor this year!

When Kyle took the lead last week at the Daytona 500, there were tremendous cheers in the stands. I’d never heard that before for him. The fans are definitely supporting the Chevy #8!!

It feels so weird to root for Kyle Busch, but here I am doing it. Congrats.

He looks so much happier already in that 8 car. Shows how much he’d become disillusioned in JGR. Now he can focus on WINNING!

Reply
Daniel Foster February 27, 2023 at 3:20 am

I gotta say, this is the first time I’ve heard more cheers than boos after Kyle Busch wins a race.

Reply
Louis J February 27, 2023 at 4:02 am

He’s sounding more mature since his change to RCR…his positivity now, resembles so much of his legendary brother, Kurt, when he became humble as well.

Reply
Jon Tuck February 27, 2023 at 4:16 am

I’m so happy for Kyle! He is such a great talent in the sport and to see him down on his luck I’m glad to see him back to his winning ways! I hope he gets many more this year and the championship!
