They actually did it
They finally did it
@@jacksonrobison1901 BUUUT they did not strip his win
@@ThePolarExpress1225ProductionsI know I’m just saying
@@ThePolarExpress1225ProductionsI mean, they kind of did. They pulled the largest aspect of the win with playoff eligibility
Rare NASCAR W
HE DID IT! HE DID THE THING!
Emily is here…
NASCAR needs to change their rules if they don’t want their drivers to cross imaginary lines
EXACTLY, this should have never happened in the first place
@@CD-5420 I thought it was worse on NASCAR even more to kinda take the blame on Joey’s actions post race.
every sport has imaginary lines
@@CD-5420 i mean there’s a difference between putting the bumper to someone and just wrecking drivers bc ur not first
YES what is the line? “I promise you the drivers know” is like an Government add.
So if he would somehow win again would he be able to be in the playoffs?
Yup
@@jordanjcdImagine the hype Dillon would have if he managed to win again and make the playoffs
Unless he wrecks someone to do it…
He won’t
Probably not, his next win will be due to wrecking another driver. And will be the same results.
If the chase didn’t exist this wouldn’t be as big of an issue
Even if the win and in guarantee was removed this would’ve been avoided
Or the B. W.C.?
@@liamjar7777 you can blame Matt Kenseth for that his one win championship in 2003 is the reason they made the chase for the cup
@Staysick17 they made the chase playoffs for views. It wasn’t one driver. And yes they’re digging their grave even deeper. I havent watched in 6 weeks but enjoyed the finish this week and was excited. Now I hear this and it reminds me why I don’t give a sh!+ anymore
@@perrywebb5833 Agee except glad Joey got a fine.
Audio definitely killed him
Facts
Definitely
Yep that’s it too
@@peezytheduck yep. I don’t disagree with the penalties but taking him out of the playoffs. If you’re gonna do that just take it all away.
Well I’ll be damned, they actually did it.
@@NeosAvias ruined the sport some more? Yup they actually did once again.
Did what?!
they need to penalize teams when they drive recklessly. Dillon had no intention of passing Joey, just driving thru him
@@NeosAvias hello
As long as they do the same for everyone there’s two cars that have wrecked several cars but have not had a thing done to them
Where I totally agree with you, you cannot look in the past. Going forward I am sure they will be looked at closer, and I think that this was a fair and just penalty. I personally think that the chase should be shelve, I have been a NASCAR fan since the middle 1960s and we went for years without a playoff. I’ve had arguments with people that are sticking ball defenders, and you cannot judge this and this system is just whack, even the NHRA playoff is much better Worked out and works better than this so it needs to go along with all the other gimmicks like these stupid stages.
Shut up and breathe it’s not that serious get over the stages@@linhunnicutt6556
Yes theres been other races where contact resulted in the leader being wrecked but nothing was as undisputedly egregious as this was. Especially when he right reared Hamlin, absolutely unacceptable.
I started watching NASCAR in the early 70 with my Dad don’t care about the stages at all it brakes the momentum of the race. Don’t like the way the new points system works. Just to different from the old days.
How many times has Hamlin pushed Kyle out of his way.. Logano wreaks others to win all the time.. They just wanna cry when they are on the receiving end… Lames
If this was the 23 or 54 they wouldn’t have done this.
Well if that was true, then it would’ve been because of them being Toyotas.
@say11911 They haven’t had a win stripped of playoff eligibility. What has the 54 been penalized for? He dumped his own teammate at Martinsville in the Xfinity series two years ago and nothing was done. It’s obvious ASSCAR is getting those Yen stuffed in their pockets.
Nobody over the pit road wall that does not have a fire suit till all cars are parked.
That solves nothing when people like Logano drive past several officials and ignore their directions. The only person in the wrong place was Logano.
Agreed. But with a wrecked car speeding down pit road barely in control, that firesuit won’t help you. Two things, both of them were wrong.
@reconricky1577 becuase he had no room to move in line. No one was directing the drivers at all.
Dillan clearly wrecked lagono and Hamlin. Win should of been taken away.
Seem like the family of the winner was being escorted by a NASCAR official. Might be why they were pushed back quick enough before Logano hurt people.
“Why wasn’t the call made after the race?” We had to wait for Actions Detrimental.
cause Nascar is run by sissys
Maybe they wanted input from the sponsors? Just a guess.
“Stakeholders” hes a loser @@nickq204
@@nickq204 That’s ridiculous if thats the case
Had to wait for Whamlin to complain and say what he wanted.
What Joey did was obviously wrong and he should be penalized. Nascar ALSO needs to look into keeping people off pit road as the cars are still coming down. Cars are hot, sometimes damaged and could be a serious safety issue.
He got a 50k fine, the people were on pit road when they should not have been
i agree safety is number one how many years has that crap been going wake up Nascar
@@lawrencecarberry1399well we all know the truth. The truth is there hasn’t been one single death of a Nascar driver since the intimidator himself was killed what’s that tell ya.
But honestly as I set here I think to myself it actually took something so so serious I mean loosing dale Earnhardt sr for Nascar to wake up don’t know just thinking ty for your time.
Joey got a taste of his own medicine
He didn’t put the media darling into a wall
1000% joey races like a chump
If you don’t like the rules and penalties, just wait, they’ll change again.
So now next time Logan or Hamlin does it are they gonna get the same treatment
Depends how far back there are or were. It was a four car length dive bomb. And I think the penatly may have been more about the right hook on the 11 than the 22 dive bomb. Or maybe a combination. The spotter didn’t help.
@@jamesscully529 i dont really see a problem with the contact with joey, but hooking hamlin head on into the wall could of been so bad… especially at a bigger track.
lol Not
Correct, that is what the Vice President of competition just said.
Nope. They get away with everything. Hope the 3 makes it extremely hard on them during the playoffs
If the overtime rules didn’t exist, #3 car wins the race. Best car should always win. Now just put top 5 running car numbers in a Lotto Hopper and pick the winner.
With the number of wrecks during “Overtime” how can you say, Cost and Safety are Important???
Looks at Dale Earnhardt Sr’s career of bumping people out the way-
“The integrity of our playoff format” LMAO
