The most heartbreaking finish as a Kyle Busch fan, avoiding every single big one, doing the impossible, leading overtime into the final turn, to just falling short again like last year, I am proud of KB for not wrecking burton when he easily could have. And shoutout burton for the win
I was crying when busch lost
@@mariaaparicio7405 , Well Then, I am Laughing at You Too. Kry baby Kyle.
LMAOff !!! My New favorite Hero, Burton, anybody making a bad day for the 8 .
Bell didn’t forget how to push, Busch didn’t back up to him once he broke away. Burton backed up to pick up Retzlaf, that’s why he won.
What an awesome race
Probably one of if not, the best races of the season
Man, what a NIGHT!!! Harrison, the Burtons, and the all Wood Brothers are gonna have a big celebration tonight over this!!! Way to go, Harrison!!! You’ve made all of us proud, kid!!!
Harrison Burton is NOT a bust anymore
Regardless of what we say about the playoffs and the “Mickey Mouse” part of this win, let’s all gather round and agree Leigh Diffey was a barnstormer tonight with his commentary.
Great for Harrison Burton and Wood Brothers but this proves that there is something wrong in the playoffs format. it’s incredible that the last full-time driver in the standings will be in the playoffs just because he won a wild race.
So what that’s what this format was all about
@@raymondweeks7536doesnt mean its good
This is why I never watch the races any more. Used to watch every race before the championship was delegitimized
@@LordBurger Watch something else
@@lightfeather9953 If I’m being honest, I mainly only watch NASCAR for the racing product at this point, not for the playoffs. If NASCAR was like F1 with their racing product, I probably would have stopped watching.
Leigh Diffey react to Harrison Burton wins victory in Daytona Night Races Coke Zero Sugar 400 was a Amazing ever
He should have given the mic over to Jeff on last lap and remained quiet
“BUT, HERE COMES HARRISON BURTON!!!”
That line is chills
The new guy Nascar stole from Indycar. Enjoy him
More like “THERE GOES HARRISON BURTON!!” Guy was flying lol
Great aussie style calling tbh, we hear this a lot in aussie football and horse racing, really great calls by Diffey
Legendary
NBC made the perfect move w/ shifting Leigh Diffey into the Cup booth for the remainder of the season!
But why? He did fantastic job with Olympics I get that, but I feel he should have been quiet on last half lap and let Jeff call the race. That would have been better
@@yancyjenkinssr1824you want energy here is your energy
@@yancyjenkinssr1824 no, Jeff sucks. He is not a good play by play announcer. i don’t mind him being part of the team with all the hate he gets. But he wouldn’t have added anything nor would it be anywhere as good as what Leigh did on the last few laps.
@@yancyjenkinssr1824 Jeff Burton calling the last lap would’ve been perfect. Reminded us of what took place when Dale Jarrett won his 1st Daytona 500 back in 1993.
That last lap…the mic given to Dale’s dad, Ned Jarrett.
How Sweet That Was!!!
This was one of the craziest, most entertaining, mind boggling races I’ve ever seen in any Motorsport in my 21 years. Like what didn’t happen?
18 years of watching this sport, this is by far the most insane race I ever seen. That and the 2019 fall Talladega race. Im so glad I got 2 new fans watching this race since Ive been bugging them to watch this race and they would always not want to or miss out. Now they witnessed that with me
2022 Daytona was also insane up until the wreck
Just wait until they watch a regular track and are disappointed
@@TheJingles007 Really. There’s been many more “insane” races than this one
Lmao what? 2007 Daytona 500, 2012 Talladega fall race, 2010 Daytona 500. All more “insane” than this.
Not saying the race was bad or anything, and it certainly did not lack excitement, but yea there’s been crazier.
Before that, when Harvick won at Atlanta right after Earnhardt died would top it for you. EDIT: in Earnhardt’s car
10/10 commentary in the finish telling Jeff Burton that his “little boy has done it”. Well Done
His*
@@TheJingles007 thanks
Nascar stole him from Indycar. He is fitting right in.
Onya Leigh Diffey , hard luck to Bush, well Wood Bro & young Burton
That call by Leigh Diffey, this could be one of the most iconic calls in NASCAR history.
It’ll never top Bestwick’s 2001 Pepsi 400 call.
Ever.
Ned’s last lap call by far

I was at the race, it was AMAZING. Congrats to burton for getting that 100th win
Great race and love seeing that 21 finally back in victory lane!
Tuned in to the start by chance. Recognized Leigh from F1, IndyCar, Olympics so decided to stick around and watch the whole thing. What an incredible race!
Me too. Leigh did not disappoint. What a call it was
the perfect commentator
@@brianlecorchick welcome back*
Is that Leigh Diffey calling the race?? Hell yes NASCAR! More of this!!
He’s the new PxP guy now that Indycar is going to FOX next year. He’ll call all Cup races the rest of this year, Rick Allen will do Xfinity.
The TV happened to broadcast this race, so I watched Nascar for the 1st time as a F1 fan, and this race is amazing. Congrats to Barton for winning, and I feel sorry for No.4 for flipping ❤
Glad to see you became a ‘convert’…but don’t leave F1. Just add ‘NASCAR’ to your ‘bucket list’.
@@peterdoucet7974 Thank you ❤️
@@peterdoucet7974why not?
Came over from the UK to watch my first ever NASCAR race live….OMG! It was incredible!! Best sporting event I’ve ever seen….amazing!!!!
Nothing else in motorsport compares to this excitement and drama. Even better under the lights!
This race needs to be in a museum. Goated
