NASCAR is Eric Estepp’s favorite word this week…

Omg the penalties are being dished out like Candy. This is just hilarious
Until the appeals panel removes it
@Codi Leger Someone commented on the other video saying NASCAR just made a new rule saying that the appeals panel cannot give points back anymore. Not sure if its true or not.
@Thomas Kunz they just have to throw it out altogether or reduce the points to a close range to the penalty
Give it a week, they’ll get this one overturned too. I’ve been a Hendrick fan for years but this is getting ridiculous, 2 in 2 weeks for parts modification and they got away with the first one, I’m curious how they get away with this one
@Codi Leger: They did. They all four to R&D after this race.
Is this a F-You to Chad after all these years?
@Victor Johnston Makes sense now. I didn’t know. Still need to do it a couple more times but wait til June or July
Hendricks will win this also. They were all setup for the very first time to run on rain if it happened. They also had rain tires in the pits. “The greenhouse may be modified to accommodate a windshield wiper motor where required; these modifications will be permitted for all race tracks.” Its just more miscommunication from Nascar. and an obvious attack at Hendricks.
I can’t help but think this is purely damage control on NASCAR’s part after the Kaulig penalties.
nascar is pissed after the L2 was overturned, now theyre going after hendrick with all they got
L2??
“Modification to the greenhouse”… As a new NASCAR fan, can I ask what might have been done to gain a competitive advantage and how?
Idk honestly, only thing i can think of is weight reduction as the bodies have to be in a very specific shape that wont pass pre race inspection

@KeiTruckUrbanist no that would get caught immediately, this is more complicated. Honestly don’t have a clue. Probably didn’t even matter from a performance stand point but rules are rules and I’m glad they’re showing how close they’re watching what teams do with the car. Makes for better racing.
2 major penalties for Hendrick within the last few weeks. Watch these penalties get largely, if not entirely, rescinded when they get their appeal heard for this one.
Could the Hendrick’s car appeal that one until the regular crew chiefs comes back?
Tell me Nascar is having a temper tantrum with out telling me nascar is having a temper tantrum
Hendrick and their fans are a clown show.
@Kubush he’s not wrong
You get a penalty! You get a penalty! You get a penalty! Everyone’s getting fined!

This is ridiculous at this point.
Something tells me they won’t penalize Chase when he gets back in the 9. You penalize MPD and everyone is gonna turn on NASCAR
This reeks of retaliation on NASCAR’s end.
Incredible . NASCAR needs to lighten up FFS .
