I’ve never seen a more boring package. I’m considering not even watching the rest of the short track races in this season.
@Thomas Kunz well yea I get that it helps on cost for teams but I agree, it’s bs. If it helps then go with 800hp or 750hp, but more power than what they’ve got please.

@Deskaijitor Larson went from 5th to first in 20 laps and won the race. Truex drove from outside the top 10 to 3rd in the last 50 laps. The people crying are mad cause you think your car winning, is what makes it a good race. And yes, Bristol and Martinsville is better as 1 groove racing, go back and watch 90s NASCAR, every seat was sold out.
@Ryker44 Agree 100%, that would most likely give the drivers the ability to pass again. Yesterday it was basically whoever was first and had clean air pulled away and won. Preece, Harvick, Hamlin, then Briscoe all pulled away in the lead but couldn’t keep up or make passes while in 3rd or worse. Logano with 80 lap old tires held them off for 2nd lol.

Was there a weather issue? So many empty seats. This used to be a “must” race.
Look at all of the tracks….nothing is filling up. Something has just changed, and it’s caused me to switch to F1.

In 2022 Joey Logano won a phoenix and las Vegas race and William Byron won a Atlanta race and a Martinsville race. This year Byron has won at las Vegas and phoenix and Joey logano has won Atlanta and Was so close today at Martinsville. In short, William and Joey almost swapped track wins this far into the season.

I love that, especially for this one, Nascar has access to 4k HDR footage of the Martinsville race, and continues to only post in 720p 30 fps, SDR. Nascar, get a new content team!
The 4kHDR fucked my tv up because its not 4k lol. Took half the contrast away expect during commericial
@Zumpt That’s because of the HDR. They had a poor HDR mastering. Not because of the 4K. The 4K was fine. It was clear.

No tires, two tires. Two tires won…sadly. But duh! 22 did what they had to do. The class of the field today starting from last to 2nd with all the drama in between. He is the interesting story, not Larson. MO

When a fast car gets sent to the back and can’t pass cars something’s wrong. Having the fastest car get sent to the back should have made for a good show watching that car coming through the field. NASCAR has turned short tracks into restrictor plate racing. The guys running the sport just don’t get it, it’s sad.
