5 Guys Burgers and Fries #1
the connor zilisch vs jesse love friendly xfinity rivalry is gonna be so entertaining next year
All three are buddies, like Bubba, Chase, and Blaney. Should be good
I completely forgot that he’ll be back competing with Jesse Love again. If it weren’t for watching the past ARCA race. I wouldn’t know that they raced against each other.
Connor is gonna be the real deal imo, and Jesse love has proven he’s got what it takes, should be interesting
@@TimScottDT it sure will.
Excited to see what Zilisch can do in the #88.
As for Herbst, I genuinely do not believe he’s ready for the Cup series. We might have another Harrison Burton situation in our hands.
Herbst isn’t *that* good to begin with. He might get a win, But he’ll *never* be a champion contender.
I have the same feeling about Herbst. I don’t think he’s ready for cup yet and if he is moved to cup next year, I also believe we’re looking at another Harrison Burton and cup does not need that.
@@linhunnicutt6556 What is the story for Harrison Burton in 2025?
He’s honestly been in xfinity for over five years you never know he could surprise in cup!
@@bighand1530 we know that he will not be in cup in 2025 and maybe not even Xfinity. Who knows and who really cares because he just wasn’t ready for up and may never be.
Zilisch’s twitter profile used to say soon to be youngest Cup champion ever. With this move he is getting close to it
I cannot wait to see how he’ll perform in the #88, I’m really looking forward to Zillich’s rise to prominence!
Will Dale Jr come back for next year?
As a F1 fan we lost out of having a great American driver. This is a steal for trackhouse.
Im so excited to see Zilisch next year, with all races being on network television, Xfinity is going to be SO HYPE!!!
I agree! It will be more popular than Cup in many areas especially rural.
Is Connor Zilisch ready to move up to Xfinity? That’s fast, hope he’s not getting rushed.
He’s won in everything he’s ever driven, including ARCA and LMSC, the two things closest to Xfinity. This is a dude who won the Daytona 24 at age 17 in a car he’d never driven before. None of that means he’s 100% ready, but not sure what else there is to do beyond have him run part-time for a year, which is just delaying the inevitable.
@@trev3971 well yes, but at the same time I trying to not put too much hype within a guy that’s 18 years old.
Awesome to see the 88 car back full time next year in the Xfinity series!
Does that mean Jr drives the 8 I know he got the rights to the Old 8 trademark
@@noahhall5211one can hope!
@noahhall5211 That’s what I would assume. If he runs a race it should be in his #8.
Justin Marx is a fascinating team owner. He finds the talent he wants, signs them, and in turn essentially rents them to a team for a year or so until he has a seat open up. He rents the driver to a top tier team in effort to ensure they can grow and succeed.
I wonder if he signed Keelan Harvick and Brandon Busch yet?
It’s definitely a good strategy for a new team that doesn’t field entries in all the feeder series. It’s much cheaper to get another team to field a car for you than it is to have to field a bunch of extra teams in various series.
@ZVPieGuy I’m not sure I see him as a new team owner. He has his charters spoken for. He has his lower series cars with drivers. The salaries of drivers covered by sponsorship.
Eric turning into Rick Allen with all these “adversity” comments
I’m a Mike Joy when I commentate on my own races
What I find fascinating about the whole Riley Herbst deal…if you take away an ultra rich father with Monster Energy in his back pocket, this conversation isn’t even happening. The talk would be about does Denny feel Heim is Cup ready.
Is it really fascinating though? This is nothing new. It’s been happening for the past decade and half. Shoot you have always needed sponsorship to race because racing has always been expensive. There are two ways to get sponsorship, either be wealthy enough to basically fund the sponsorship yourself or find a way to acquire it. Obviously the latter is harder but you need to be able to do it today as a driver because todays racing at the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series level is so expensive. Really nothing new it’s just that the cost to race is so insanely high now that driver funding is a much bigger focus and therefore talked about more.
Can we see Carson Kvapil added to the JRM stable as well?
I think we would have if he had the sponsor backing for it. I expect Connor is probably bringing lots of sponsorship from his own racing and From trackhouse as well.
Chickfila is the #1 chicken spot without a doubt, as good as Canes is it can’t compare
Herbst to Front Row makes to much sense
I think Carson Kvapil should have been offered that ride first. He has done very well when he has drive the #88 this year.
I think everyone who watched him wanted it to come true. Sadly money talks in racing and Connor is paid for by Trackhouse. Hopefully Kvapil gets in soon full time but sponsorship is everything
Kvapil has been arguably the top JR Motorsports talent this year in his limited starts in the 88. You got to put him full time.
Herbst says he doesnt know why silly season is so crazy this year. My brother in christ is because the team you drive for is shutting down
FINALLY, Xfinity is finally getting real drivers instead of rich children who were barely relevant in mediocre ARCA fields.
Connor Zilisch is a world class dude! He autographed my Brad Keselowski 6 hat at Indy and I am a fan of his for life!
